no, what we really need is convince Sarah Palin to bring out thousands of people for rallies against socialism.
“IMO, a “stop buying” campaign would be much more effective. Stop being such consumers in order to deprive the evil ones of revenues. Shoot, encourage them to spend much more, while you’re at it. A general default would prevent big government any time soon.”
But, stop buying what? Do you mean wreck the economy then rebuild? Do you mean we should “shrug” and let the non-producers go to hell? As appealing as that is for me for a lot of reasons, I have a lot of customers, friends, family members who are not equipped to be self sufficient and would be really screwed - I don’t think I could do that. Is that what you mean?
And BTW, my suggestion (slowing down on consumerism) will also put the pushy piggies in traffic in unemployment lines. They don’t do produce anything useful to us when at “work,” anyway.
Help your friends and family as much as you can, but remember that the tree of liberty must at times be watered.
We need a whole lot of Social Darwinism about now.
It’s called “rushing to failure”. It’s real popular in Washington D.C. Everybody is doing it.
Oh, so you want us to be forced to go back to the economy-killing 55mph top speed limit?
I bill out by the hour. Are *you* going to pay out for the hours I lose in traffic because of this stupidity? If not, STFU and get off the road.
“no, what we really need is convince Sarah Palin to bring out thousands of people for rallies against socialism.”
Amen to that. You are preaching to the choir on that score. But she isn’t going to get us to shut down enough of this BS fast enough. Stopping things and making them listen, peacefully, I think, is the trick...but it has to be fast and easy to orchestrate...and something everyone can do. I fear for the first time in my long life that we may not be able to withstand this kind of outrageous usurpatioon of power and savaging of our rights for much longer...this is not something I ever dreamed could happen...we are watching the rape of our way of life in quick time...

Hahaha...you are right there...
“Help your friends and family as much as you can, but remember that the tree of liberty must at times be watered. We need a whole lot of Social Darwinism about now.”
I know...I really am aware...and that is what makes me willing to try to think out loud even if it looks a little foolish...I am not much of a socialist, I guess...no experience with rabblerousing, but if the rabble don’t rouse pretty soon, I think my kids and their kids are going to be in for a real hurt...
You might want to read post 8.
Your idea is a really bad one and will turn the populace against your ideas.
“I bill out by the hour. Are *you* going to pay out for the hours I lose in traffic because of this stupidity? If not, STFU and get off the road.”
Yeah, I got that. That’s why I floated the idea of a Sunday afternoon drive home time as well...listen, I get that you think I’m an idiot...I am trying to come up with something other than watching this Kenyan steal my country...
Well, think FASTER. Not slower.
“Well, think FASTER. Not slower.”
Faster would be easier with help or suggestions...what do you think would help put the skids under this Kenyan????
Looks like the other side is thinking and acting;
President Obama’s leadership is “one of the best opportunities that Americans have had in decades,” declared a civil rights activist addressing an overflow crowd at a gathering sponsored by the official newspaper of the Community Party USA.
The Peoples Weekly World last weekend held its 35th Annual African American History Month celebrations in Connecticut, drawing large crowds in both Hartford and New Haven, including high school students who participated in an arts competition with the theme “Dear President Obama, My dream is ... .”
Panelists at both events spoke about and took questions on this year’s theme: “Building the Momentum for Change. Realizing the Dream for Jobs Peace Equality.”
The events featured local guests, music and a tribute to the author and civil rights activist W.E.B. Du Bois, who was a Communist Party member according to expert Trevor Loudon.
A report in Peoples Weekly World stated speakers at the events were asked to “reflect on [the] next steps to achieve equality and how to keep the unity growing that elected Obama.”
Oh, I have some ideas. But I’m not going to post them here until I’ve developed them a little more.
“Oh, I have some ideas. But Im not going to post them here until Ive developed them a little more.”
I’d like to hear them...good luck...
WHY SHOUT?
I say revolt by not paying any taxes. What are they going to do, Lock us all up?
