From CNN Congressional Producer Deirdre Walsh
(CNN) Mississippi Democratic Rep. Gene Taylor blasted the budget outline President Obama submitted to Capitol Hill today, saying I dont like it change is not running up even bigger deficits that George Bush did.
Thats what George Bush did very well. Apparently thats what President Obama is doing.
Taylor, a conservative blue dog who voted against the stimulus bill, noted he was still reviewing the plan but was troubled by the additional amount of spending for many government programs on top of the recent increased funding many agencies received in the economic stimulus bill.
Watch: Conservative Dems dog Obama
As a member of the Armed Service Committee, Taylor noted the budget only gives the Defense Department a small increase, which he said would barely cover the cost of living adjustments for the military.
Taylor pointed to President Obamas inaugural address that called for Americans to make sacrifices, saying Its certainly not reflected in his budget.

First Byrd hits Obama’s power grab, now Taylor is whacking him a bit?
What is the world coming to?
Looks like another Pelosi cram-down party-line vote. No debate, rushed through with zero scrutiny, etc
If the rest of them do the same thing, I might be a fan, maybe, they are still dems . . . .
Gene Taylor voted against the porkulus bill. He says he only votes his conscience and has little party loyalty and that is believable. he has a better voting record than many republicans but i still vote against him in every election.
Maybe someone snapped their fingers and awakened them from the hypnotic trance Obama the Kneyan has placed on them. Too bad we cannot slap more of them on the back of the head and make them wake up to the fact that they are destroying us.
Taylor also voted for impeachment
Gene Taylor is one of the good Dems, he supports the troops, is pro-gun, pro-life, and is fairly fiscal conservative. He had to be to vote against spendulus and my guess is he’s 1 of the 20 to vote against the $410 Billion.
Looky here... Another bit of evidence... The Dawgs are comin home.
Mississippi ping!
Like I said a couple of weeks ago... The dems with real experience and political savvy already know what we conservatives see - Obama has no real, applicable experience. He is going to make tremendous mistakes (heck, already has, just look at his cabinet and porkus). These dems don’t want the taint of being associated with O come the 2010 elections. They’re already starting to distance themselves from an administration that by all accounts is and will be a disaster.
They are getting worried about 2010. At the rate O is destroying America it may not matter.
The GOP guy (Tedisco?) in NY state is leading in the polls with Mitt and Rudy helping. The election is in March (a few days away - is it the first tuesday in March??).
If the GOP guy wins the Blue Dogs will get more concerned.
FYI - if Obama was found to be Kenyan-born by SCOTUS then Joe and Pelosi would probably get booted too. The fourth in line is Sen. Byrd with Hillary being number 5.
I would take a senile old recovered Klansman over a marxist, Muslim, Saudi mole from kenya.
Guys - you are right but Obama is far far worse than that. He is running Chavez, Mugabe and the UK left who tuyrn the country over to Islam’s playbook at warp speed.
The Keyna-born marxist is far worse than Carter by far. He is spending about a trillion a week.
Sen. Byrd also voted to confirm many of GWB’s conservative judges! He was pretty reliable on that. Otherwise and on other things, he could be a real pill!
Obama has the mentality of a teenager out of control.
LLS
On another note, never be thankful of a Blue Dog, they help keep Bela Pelosi in power.......
They just can’t attack O without adding W to the mix.
LOL! Yeah true. Still - he would be worlds better than Mugabe Jr.
Is he an inactive klansman or incontinent? ;-)
