RE: California’s resolution............
What does a bill passed in 1994 have to do with Obama?
It’s pretty clear that Arnold isn’t going to flex the power(if any) that’s contained in this thing. Is anybody in Cali doing some saber rattling that you’re aware of?
This is great news!
Thanks Joe! Welcome, and please feel free to post when you see a an article or thread not included here.
No one here is doing anything remotely related to the 10th amendment. However, there is a movement on to split the state in half. We’ll see where that goes, and where the split would be drawn. If it’s the Central Valley that withdraws from the coast, we might gain a conservative state.
Thanks FGS!
Thanks for your quick reply.
I ask that question mainly because of california’s repeated inclusion into these lists of states regarding the current “10th amendment/resolution movement”. See the human events article listed above that ties Obama together with all of this.
If this is an old resolution, and they aren’t currently doing anything remotely related to the 10th, then they shouldn’t be listed.
Am I reading all of this wrong?
That’s how I would interpret it too. ARINOld nearly broke his neck trying to get to the stimulus “money” to stanch the bleeding this state is experiencing.

YYYEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You could ask other FReepers to hang onto a copy of your ping list. I have two others who do that for my homeschool lists. That way if anything happens to me or my computer, the lists are still available. It’s not likely that something would happen to all three of us simultaneously.
Hi and welcome, I hope we get more of these resolutions. Let us know if you see an article on FR or online. Thanks!
Do you know if this proposal got any further in the state of Washington? It’s been 13 years since California asserted its version of states rights. (Now they are groveling and taking all the money they can get.)
A new thread on FR:
Oklahoma House passes sovereignty bill (Get your teabags ready)

Ping to a tenth amendment update thread, you might find some interesting/useful/encouraging news over here.
I've been considering that. The way it's been going since this began, I've been adding as many as 20 - 25 names per day. Even at that, I know I've missed quite a few that have participated on like threads, so it's being updated almost continuously. I haven't counted, but I think there are well over 400 names already - and still growing. Frequent updates will be in order, at least for the time being.
Anyway, I think you may have just nominated TenthAmendmentChampion as a backup since she will be "manning" the resource thread. Mind taking on another chore TenthAmendmentChampion???
A separate list of lists...
