* Willing to work with Obama on health care.
* Talked about Palin: "I think the world of Sarah."
* Admitted rushing into TARP.

Leave it to McCain to try to steal the limelight from other conservatives, in this case, Jindal. |

Tcats to McCain: STFU.
Hopefully the old coot is swirling the bowl and will be gone next year.
yup, barf
Leave it to McCain to try to steal the limelight from other actual conservatives, in this case, Jindal.
McCain is not a conservative. He's a flaming, self-centered, egomaniac opportunist.
Anyone not 100% opposed to Obama’s health care initiatives deserves to be booted from the party.
What about Obama's Social Security initiatives?
McCain's "little jerk" Graham has been going around expressing his willingness to work with Obama on Social Security, even as Democrats stay quiet.
I couldn’t have said it better myself.
But tell me something, please: is it true that the GOP actually nominated this idiot to be President of the United States? I guess their “slobbering love affair” ended once he lost the election.
Depends on what they do to SS, I guess. I know Obambis plans for healthcare.
I don't think it's very likely that Obama, the Democrats, and a bunch of RINOs are going to "reform" Social Security in a way that's in the best interest of the U.S. taxpayer.
Hey McCain, GFY. And that does not stand for “Good For You.”
How sad it is to consider what he's managed to leave for his legacy......
I still think(adjusting tinfoil hat)that the whole thing, including the nomination of McCain, was diabolically engineered to ensure Millstone’s victory.
Likely not. My suggestion is to phase it out completely.
If only Ron Pauley had been more electable then the BO would not be in the WH, is that what you are saying?
No why did I support Paul. However, would not he have been better than Obama; by far? Whatever damage he may have done in foreign affairs could have been undone. What Obama has done can never be reversed.
I’m not so sure if Dr. Paul would have beaten BO, but I bet he would have put up a better fight than Juan McCain did. Unlike Juan McCain, Dr. Paul would have made everyone aware of how little BO respects the Constitution. He had a huge following & raised an incredible amount of money....& didn’t take one penny of federal funds in the process (nor would he, I believe)!
Don't Blame Me Comrade, I Voted For McCain / Palin.
I;m taking it off and starting fresh. This and Obama making McCain look like a schooled old man at the White House Summit yesterday. McCain had no idea he was being Punked when the Prez called on him to explain what McCain's “Breakout Group” accomplished.
I was embarrassed for McCain, the Republican Party and the entire Country when I heard that. Being played by an empty suit once again. Geez.
Sounds like McCain meant the same thing that nice ladies from the south mean when they say "Well, bless your heart".

No need to insult Rep. Paul...he is a class act & a man of principle who would have put Juan McCain to shame had the Elites in the GOP & the MSM given him much of an opportunity to state his case.
I sure hope the 0media isn’t planning on launching McCain at us again.
Please, Arizona, recall this libtard!
You’re right I should not insult Ron Paul and there are many issues on which I do agree with him. RP would have been much preferred to BO and probably McCain however in reality how many votes did he get and who voted for him?
Seems to me that NE liberals nominated McCain. By the time the primaries came around to many of us it was over—a done deal. McCain was the nominee.
As far as a “slobbering love affair” goes, I didn’t see it on FR at all. Most of the support I saw for him was of “the alternative is worse” flavor.
I would say though that the GOP establishment does have a slobbering love affair going with McCain and others like him.
“Sounds like McCain meant the same thing that nice ladies from the south mean when they say “Well, bless your heart”.
I have to say it depends on how the term is used, it is not always used in a negative sense. I hear it mostly used in conversation about ones health or a misfortune.
Example, How are you today? I was out a few days with the flu or my car broke down this morning. “Well, bless your heart”
I only say this to defend our southern ladies this well known phrase is mostly used in a pleasant manner. So next time you visit us, don’t be offended if someone says this in response to you!
I don’t believe it was your intent to draw a negative image of the south. Judging from your website it was meant to be humorous, but we are in the midst of having our Southern Heritage wiped out! A laughing matter to some but not to those of use who are fully aware of how the south is having its history re-written to portray us as the root cause of slavery and hatred!
It is funny however, that if you take out the false cause of the war “slavery” and look at the real reasons for secession, “states rights and the people” to govern themselves, many around the country today are grumbling about the exact same things today.
Don’t let them get away with pointing the finger at the American people as the problem. They have had a lot of practice at doing this ever since the war and hopefully you can see how well their propaganda has worked for us in the south and have learned from it.
Please don’t take this as being directed at you personally Mountainbunny. It just happened to be the platform for my rant.
Oh, goodness. Of course not. No offense taken :) I lived in the south most of my life (wasn't born there, but lived there till fairly recently).
I did not in any way mean to denigrate anyone from the south & if that was the impression I gave, I'm sorry. Rather, I was making a point about how clever people from the south are with language and expressions.
I miss the wonderful people and the glorious culture every single day and will return to stay if it is ever possible.
