Prince of Darkness Denies Own Existence (punkneo still has no visible means of support)

Listening to neocon mastermind Richard Perle, there's a sense of falling down the rabbit hole. Perle was the ideological architect of the Iraq war and of the Bush doctrine of preemptive attack. But at a forum of foreign policy intellectuals, hosted by National Interest magazine, he created a fantastic world in which:

1. Perle is not a neoconservative. 2. Neoconservatives do not exist. 3. Even if neoconservatives did exist, they certainly couldn't be blamed for the disasters of the past eight years.

"There is no such thing as a neoconservative foreign policy," Perle informed the gathering. So what about the 1996 report he co-authored, widely seen as the cornerstone of neoconservative foreign policy? "My name was on it because I signed up for the study group," Perle explained. "I didn't approve it. I didn't read it."

Mm-hmm.

And the two letters to the president, signed by Perle, giving a "moral" basis to Middle East policy and demanding military means to remove Saddam Hussein? "I don't have the letters in front of me," Perle replied.

Right.

Perle was chairman of Bush's Defense Policy Board---and a leading cheerleader for the Iraq war-----predicting that the effort would take few troops and last only a few days, and that Iraq would pay for its own reconstruction.

The president clearly took the advice of Perle and his fellow neocons.

Perle is a breathtaking fraud. His mouthing lie after lie easily exposes this punkneo as a charlatan. What's more outrageous, Perle's words evidence his elitist, unmitigated contempt for American and Americans, and for those who dare reveal his self-absorbed pomposity and falsity.

What does this guy do for a living the working class taxpayer might ask? He seems to do nothing but roam the world, write stupid books, and make idiotic statements. Oh wait----let's not forget Perle is going into the oil business in Iraq-----thanks to his war profiteering---the trillions of tax dollars (and rivers of young blood) deposited there. Nice to know US taxpayers made the area safe for Perle's business ambitions (gag).

It would be a challenge to determine who is more nauseating---Poobah Perle or his comrades in arms.

MY NOMINEE

Winner of the 2008 Best Election Night Performance Award in the category of:
"I Know Nothing About this Republican Disaster."

Billy Kristol (McC campaign mastermind)

"Thank you very much. But I could not have done it without the help of all the
punkeos--David Frum, Michael Gerson, David Brooks, Richard Perle.....and
my Dearest Daddy."

"Sniffle---my Dearest Daddy (who was Giuliani's foreign policy advisor) said,
"The historical task and political purpose of neoconservatism is.....to convert the
Republican Party and American conservatism in general, against their
respective wills,
into a new kind of conservative politics suitable to
governing a modern democracy."

"Sob."

"I especially want to thank punkneo Douglas Feith for faking documents on his
home computer so we punkneos could dupe the president."

"Without Doug we would not have been able to transfer trillions of US dollars
into the Mideast, into the pockets of war profiteers, which enabled Richard Perle
to startup an oil business in Iraq with his cut."

Kristol smirked: "Making Iraq safe for Perle's oil business with US tax dollars was truly a noble punkneo effort."

==============================================

COMMENTS The political entrail readings showed the crucial conservative base stayed home.........too bad the pukes "forget" to tell McC that would be one outcome of the punkneo-RINO bi-partisanship. Be aware that many senior neocons are rank opportunists who squatted in the Repub Party for their stealth purposes-----they are actually former Trotskyites that flew the coop when Stalin executed their hero.

AS FREEPER TADSLOS COGENTLY POSTED: "People forget that candy-ass Kristol, and his crony, metro-sexual Brooks are the original makeover artists for McCain post-2000. They are McC's original groomers and media switch operators.....obsessed with religious cleansing of the party. Kristol at his most smirkiest---urging McCain to fire his 2008 staff, to start all over at the 11th hour, as McC's numbers tanked. Shows how how ill-conceived, advised, equipped and poorly managed McC's campaign was. But then, what else to expect from a Republican candidate made up of neopunks Kristol and Brooks."

Kristol championed McCain early in the election cycle to push his boy to the nomination. Kristol "support" for Palin had nothing to do with conservatism and everything to do with gauging the political winds to get his maverick liberal senator elected president. Kristol is the media poster boy for why D.C. plutocrats are completely out of touch with the rest of the country.

Watching Kristol smirking and squirming in his Fox seat on election night as McC lost his bid for the presidency was a consolation prize to this abortion of a 2008 election cycle.

====================================

Not to worry.......next week Kristol’ll be blowing whichever way the Beltway Winds are blowing......sucking up to Obama. Kristol went from Dem Moynihan's staff to Repub Quayle's, from The Weekly Standard to the NYT, from Bush to RINO Giuliani to McCain. And the pukeneo is still secretive as ever....smirking and spewing blue-blood beltway Republicanism, and kicking conservatives to the curb..........

Most don’t pay any attention to Kristol or Perle. Only inside the beltway types, and some political junkies.

I've got to admit that during the time between 9/11 and 2005 I had a great deal of respect for these "Neocons" (Perle and entourage). I appreciated their disdain for the UN, the EU and them staunchly making the case against Saddam (I consider his removal right). But Perle and his groomed protege Chalabi are nothing but frauds. Opportunists who denounced the war effort the moment it didn't go their way.

Perle and Ledeen lost me completely the moment I learned of their cooperation with the terrorist Islamomarxist MEK cult.

Marcus Tullius Cicero---Roman Statesman---Speech in the Roman Senate - 42 BC

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist.

I’m still searching for Milbanks’ articles about Obama’s corrupt Chicago roots, his misrepresentations and utter lies during the campaign, his refusal to produce his birth certificate, college and medical records, his shady house/property deals and on and on.

They spent that money as bribes so as to not have to deal with the problem.

That little tidbit explains so much.

By modern, I assume he means one where he and his cronies hold the puppet strings.

.....Perle and his groomed protege Chalabi are nothing but frauds.....

The punkneos cut their politics to fit their hidden agenda. The "Uriah Heep Factor" kicked in big time.

Conservatives were aware that the "Uriah Heeps" were plotting and planning to co-opt conservatives for their own hidden agendas------and were obsessed with religious cleansing of the Repub Party. The Uriah Heeps manhandled social conservatives----and diluted the party for their own self-serving agendas.

Dickens' Uriah Heep was notorious for wielding undue influence, a bounder who was always planning and plotting, ingratiating himself into the confidence of others. Uriah was obsequious, manipulative, and wormed his way into positions of influence. Uriah was a consummate con man, and not to be trusted. Translated into the language of the popular culture, the Uriah Heeps manipulated and used conservatives to advance their own agendas and ambitions.

The neopunks smelled the power of conservatives, and grew in their desire to exercise control over the Republican party, and to kick so/con conservatives to the curb.

The Uriah Heeps' sense of entitlement fed on the victories of others. They become more and more power-hungry and will deploy their self-serving strategies to selfish purposes. These charlatans bring harm to conservative interests, to the rights of the unborn, religious freedom, the restoration of American culture.

At their very core----the Uriah Heeps evince an elitist, unmitigated contempt for religious conservatives, and all we stand for, but held their noses, and co-opted the party for their self-serving purposes.

The neocons poisoned the well for the GOP. Now they are running for cover. I am hopeful that the GOP will totally disavow the neocons and their disastrous obsession with foreign warmaking. We don’t need to go looking for trouble halfway across the world when we have plenty of enemies right here.

They’ll find other ways to enrich themselves and accomplish the money laundering.

Getting on the global warming and green energy bandwagon will be just one.

I think they’ve pretty much targeted conservatives, religious and otherwise.

Why discriminate? ;-)

More than that----conservatives will NOT back any candidate UNLESS they publicly disavow neocons.

Despite Perle's convenient "memory lapse"----these connivers led the US over a cliff into Iraq.

In any other country, the pukes would be kaput---put in front of a firing squad.
