Investigator Alleges Democrat Judge Used Power for Sexual Liaisons with Prisoners, Drug Trafficking
Lagniappe Magazine ^ | February 24, 2009 | Rob Holbert

Joe Kulakowski leans forward across a desk that would need a major cleaning just to qualify as cluttered and succinctly states what has become so obvious to him as he’s relentlessly pursued former Circuit Court Judge Herman Thomas for the better part of the past two years.

“This is the biggest scandal in the history of American jurisprudence. In the history of American jurisprudence there has never been abuse to this extent by a judge in power involving paddling and forced sex,” Kulakowski says. “There’s nothing like this in the history of the American court system that even approaches dimensions of the corruption in this case.”

For the past two years, Kulakowski has been at the front of an effort to get to the bottom of the activities that drove Thomas from the bench in 2007. By now allegations the judge paddled inmates in a secret room he’d set up in the Mobile County Courthouse are common knowledge, and most folks have heard whispers that there may have been sexual liaisons with prisoners. But what Kulakowski claims to have discovered over the past couple of years reaches far beyond sexual perversion into the realms of massive abuse of judicial power and on to the dark and dangerous world of narcotics trafficking and police corruption.

Not exactly brewing, he has already been run off the bench. It sounds from this headline like he may be doing some time.

“This is the biggest scandal in the history of American jurisprudence."

Perhaps he hasn't heard about these 2 judges.

Two Pennsylvania judges charged with taking kickbacks to send youth offenders to privately run detention centers have pleaded guilty to fraud.

Prosecutors say Luzerne County Judges Mark Ciavarella and Michael Conahan took $2.6 million in payoffs to put juvenile offenders in lockups run by PA Child Care LLC and a sister company, Western PA Child Care LLC.

The judges were charged on Jan. 26 and removed from the bench by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court shortly afterward.

The judges pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court in Scranton. Their plea agreements call for sentences of more than seven years in prison.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Or the fact that the US Supreme Court has refused to enforce one of the basic requirements for being Presdient of the United States, that you have to be a natural born citizen. This other judge is a piker in comparison.

It sounds from this headline like he may be doing some time.

Keep reading -the judge is now working with "Youth" and a woman described as his political godfather is running for DA. No indictments yet and the statute of limitations is running out on the more than 300 young men he may have molested...and the largest paper in town won't touch the story. This needs an Alabama ping. Do we have one?

Corruption is more rampant in all areas of society. You know that this took a lot of cooperation from other people to keep this going with the judge. Apparently a lot of people knew about it.

Bishop State's Kennedy Resigns, Has Been Told To Fire David Thomas

Posted by Brian Lyman and George Altman, Staff Reporters
June 28, 2007 10:52 AM

Bishop State Community College President Yvonne Kennedy has resigned.

In a letter dated Wednesday, Kennedy submitted her resignation, effective July 31, to the state Department of Post-Secondary Education. The state board of education accepted the resignation this morning on a 7-0 vote, with member Ella Bell abstaining.

The board also accepted the resignation of Rick Rogers, president of Shelton State Community College.

Two-year system Chancellor Bradley Byrne recommended that Kennedy be named president emeritus of Bishop State, effective Aug. 1. Byrne said the emeritus title was strictly honorary and would carry neither power nor compensation.

I knew we were on a downhill slide the first time I heard the phrase "Nonjudgemental Communication" in a Human Resources seminar.
(no "judge" pun implied or intended).

How can a moral and ethical society co-exist with a belief that all conduct is above reproach?

I did keep reading and yeah he may not face jail time. He is part of three protected classes, his race, his sexual preference maybe and the criminal justice system. Of course he has lost his seat on the bench and it is his word against a bunch of felons.

Either the Feds should be involved or someone has a defamation lawsuit on their hands. I suspect the former, not the latter.

This Thomas character is a saint compared to the former King County Seattle) Washington Superior Court Judge, Gary Little; who was never convicted of brutally beating and Sodomizing young boys in the juvie criminal courts. Everyone in the courthouse knew he was doing it and so did the local papers, but they covered it up until a Seattle PI reporter called Little the day before the story ran and then blew his own brains out when.
