Obama will probably tear down the fence as a symbolic gesture.

It is illustrative that Congressmen from 3 border states, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas have sent the Obamoron a letter asking him to halt the border fence because of its $7 million/mile price tag.

They are of the opinion that we can better control the border with more “boots on the ground” and drones.

Question: What is the recurring cost of “more boots on the ground” and flying endless drones along the border vs. spending $7 million/mile once to build a permanent fence?

I figger you’re pointin’ out the obvious...

Of course not. The Dems have blown open the vault and don't care that it is empty, they are still committed to spending our way out of bankruptcy (still waiting to see how that works) and open the doors to the US to anyone who wants in.

IMO, if they are going to bring up the cost/mile for the border fence, then we need to look at the recurring costs of their "solution". The taxpayers shouldn't be forced to pay this amount of money over and over and over instead of paying for it once.

The border fence doesn't stop, reduce or eliminate commerce on EITHER side of the border, it only provides a significant obstacle to the criminal invaders.
