He wants gun owners to do time like he did. He is still a vicious radical. He proposed other gun legislation in the past that went nowhere, but with Democrat majorities in both houses and Obama President who knows? I know gun rights lobbys will fight it tooth and nail.
Couldn't help but notice he has exactly ZERO co-sponsors on this bill. BTW, I couldn't make your link work and the one I tried to make wouldn't work either. Does it work for you? They seem to have an odd way of doing their internet addies. Near as I can tell the only way to get there is fro their SEARCH PAGE.

It will be a bloody day in America when the government comes to the suburbs trying to confiscate guns off of law abiding citizens.
I can see otherwise law abiding citizens getting violent if the try to enforce something like this.
I guess Bama will need to keep Guantanomo open! They’re going to need the room.
