The Obama administration has asked the military's Joint Chiefs of Staff to cut the Pentagon's budget request for the fiscal year 2010 by more than 10 percent -- about $55 billion -- a senior U.S. defense official tells FOX News.

All of this is designed by liberals to support the troops.
When the next war comes and they don’t have the latest and greatest body armor, armored vehicles or what is pertinent to that conflict, it will give them a reason to protest and show how they support of the troops!
The left only has the troops interests at heart when it serves the left’s purposes. Only when there’s a war they oppose do they pretend to support the troops and of course that support is best expressed by demands that they surrender to the enemy.

The Obambi administration will spend it instead on stuff like Head Start, which we know doesnt work. It's more important to make liberals feel virtuous than to protect the country.
If they cancelled all “news” on tv the economy would improove immediatly.
He will do what Clinton did; Stop making new arms, stop developing new technology for killing, etc,,,. he will pull our troops out of all battle zones and hand them over to the UN or use them for “The good of humanity”, like building roads, bridges, hospitals, etc,, in Africa, and other poor countries. Oh, and Michelle will have them waiting on tables at White House dinners and serving the President and his family, like Hillary did.
They will scale back the number of troops considerably. Perhaps cut their pay to nothing and start the draft again. Some of those will go into the newly formed “Civilian Security Force” and perform the above mentioned duties also.
This will provide a job for the masses out of work in the cities, etc,,.
Perhaps The-Failure-in-Chief will simply draft Human Shields to balance out the shortfall.
So, 0 is gonna increase troop level in Afghanistan (more money to support the troops) and then cut the military’s budget.....Hmmmm.....guess Zel Miller...the new ruling anti-America elitist class actually does want our guys and gals to fight with spitballs.

counting the bank bailouts there will be $4 trillion in new spending this year or something like that. Of course the military needs a big cut.

With Al Sadyr already in Iraq, and no strong President or USA to stop them, they will move on Israel first, and then take out the unstable government in Iraq, which will give up without a fight. The Saudi’s will be forced to join up with them. They may even establish a Central government, based in Iran.
America has grown so weak they won't be able to respond in time. Obama definitely does not have a clue about what to do and will surely do all the wrong things. His knowledge of military operations is as astute as his knowledge of White House fire places. In other words, call in the Fire Trucks.

And therein lies the rub.
You see, President Obama and Congress have excellent security and run a minimal risk of being the target of a terrorist attack.
The citizens, on the other hand, are an excellent source of soft targets....sports venues, music concerts, and other gatherings.
Since terrorists will go for the soft targets, the President and Congress relish getting the opportunity to demonstrate their courage and leadership post-attack.
Remember how the media lamented President Bush getting all the glory after 9/11? Remember how they remarked that all that glory should have gone to President Gore?
This is their opportunity to look like strong leaders and enact some "caring" legislation.....as Rahm Emmanuel said "no crisis should be left unexploited".

Congress wants to further cut the budget by 25%, according to Barney Frank. The next defense appropriations bill will reflect this change.
