“she has got, at least publicly, a very private persona, one of quiet grace and elegance and intelligence.”

Then she opened her mouth and spoke...dispelling that myth.

“To the contrary, if Obama’s African relatives had anything to do with slavery, it was on the business end.”

So we need to refer to Obama as Massa now?

Throughout Obama's entire life, doors were opened for him, his college applications smiled upon and favors bestowed simply because he is black -- the original victim category in America. Being black is the highest victim caste because of blacks' authentic victimhood: The nation once tolerated slavery and Jim Crow.

But ironically, Obama's father is from Africa: He never suffered from the ancient policies that, today, give his son Victim Gold. To the contrary, if Obama's African relatives had anything to do with slavery, it was on the business end.

nailed it! i've been saying this for a while. glad to see my thinking is in line with one of the great minds of our generation :)

now, i wonder if anyone else will push this thought around... you think American blacks would be happy knowing the president could be a descendant from traders??

I always had a high metabolism, ate whatever i wanted and stayed lean.

It started to slow down after I hit 45, so now I just...eat a little less fattening food.

"I guess that would be hard to do when the corrupt Democratic governor of Illinois is running around comparing himself to Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi."

Also, yesterday on the Glenn Beck TV Cable show, Blogo compared himself to Mr. Smith goes to Washington.

He'd be a great sitcom character, but in real life Blogo's pathetic and insane. He seems to have learned much from the Clinton years.

Me too until I got that age.

Then I got a job at a bar under a dinner house.

Just had to eat those meals from upstairs every nite.

Gained a few but kept doing physical work.

Yep, the physical work will burn up plenty of calories.

And Ann looks to be pretty active. Judging from her toned forearms, I’d say she doesnt sit around the house and click on the remote all day, watching reruns of The View and fatoprah.

You tend to keep busy when you have a high metabolism.

"MSNBC's Chris Matthews summarily announced: "We all want to be protective of Caroline Kennedy." When one of his guests, Michael Smerconish, merely asked what her qualifications were, an appalled Matthews said: "Wow."

I understand the point. However, in case anyone had sympathy for Smerconish, put it away.

He became well known on the backs of conservatives, "pretending to be conservative" and in addition to having dinner and an after dinner cigar with Fidel Castro, while on a junket with Arlen Specter and subsequently bragging about it on his radio show then comprised largely of conservatives, he supported Michael Schiavo, and publicly supported and voted for Obama.

Smerconish is a RINO to the max, and most undeserving of a mention (even a negative one)in a Coulter article. He is someone who rather deserves to be shunned and ignored by conservatives.

I think Ann's perfect the way she is.

Political reporter Ron Brownstein elaborated on "wow," saying: "Well, that's pretty rough. That's pretty rough. I mean, but she has got, at least publicly, a very private persona, one of quiet grace and elegance and intelligence."

So publicly she has a private persona? They were really falling over themselves for Caroline weren't they?

Obama's father is from Africa: He never suffered from the ancient policies that, today, give his son Victim Gold. To the contrary, if Obama's African relatives had anything to do with slavery, it was on the business end.

But American blacks fawn all over him like he is the second coming. The jug-eared clodhopper is a fraud from head-to-toe and it's time the American people, whether white, black, yellow, brown, or fuschia, realize that.

"She's (Caroline) got......quiet grace, elegance and intelligence".

Great batting average for political reporter, Ron Brownnose.

Zero for three!

The Kennedy women by blood have never been noted for "grace", only the trophy wives by marriage.

Caroline has all the "elegance" of an elephant lumbering across a Serengeti plain trying to escape Stewart Granger's rifle.

As for "intelligence", Caroline would be out of her depth in the middle of a parking lot puddle.

Amen to that. Was a long time listener until he came out publicly for Obama, after months of hinting around. Said it was because he, and only he, was going to go into the tribal areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan and get OBL. Sure. In the first week, Obama was lowering expectations and renegging on the promise to get OBL.

The good news: discovered Bill Bennett's show on local AM 990 at the same time and it is great. Intelligent, great guests, a more learned approach to conservatism and its principles. Just have to put up with some 50's era bumper music from time to time. Small price to pay.

Flipped over once recently during a commercial break and the Smerc crew (and I do mean "crew" -- why do they need three people on mikes?) were giggling like schoolgirls about Obama ordering a CHEESEBURGER!

Enough to make me wonder what I ever liked about the guy . . .

Smerconish is a self-centered, opportunistic, immature narcissist, perpetually worried about looking "cool." I can't even stand to hear excerpts from his radio program, which are almost always, in some way about himself. I can think of no talk show host local or national who talks so much about himself...the first sign of a true Liberal, btw.

I had his number years ago, before he achieved anything other than a small amount of local prominence. Now... I know how aggressive and ambitious he is, and understand how he persistently schemes and pushes to further his own career (he will walk over anyone to do it), but he is so superficial and lacking in substance, and is such a pseudo thinker, that I am surprised he has been somewhat successful nationally, appearing on a number of cable programs and frequently substituting for O'Reilly. Too bad Maureen Faulkner doesn't realize he used her husband's murder to promote himself, or perhaps that's a good thing.

He is one of the attorneys we approached about taking our case against the Teamsters, but we dumped him when we learned he was strongly opposed to trying to hold then Mayor Rendell and DA Lynne Abraham accountable for my brother's beating and for putting my brother on trial as a political favor to their friends the Teamsters, when they knew my brother was innocent. We realized what he was then, and thank God.

"Smerc" and his crew sound like juvenile adolescents, which is what our popular culture has become. Believe me it is by design. "Smerc" has to be in the "IN" crowd and needs constant adulation. Bill Bennett's show is far better and is true conservative commentary. I agree and am glad you found it.
