Washington is no longer our government. It is a full blown Mafia family, stealing everything they can before it all collapses on us.

If you want to know more about how Washington works, watch the episode of teh Sopranos, where the sporting goods store is totally looted and the owner is left to declare bankruptcy and give Tony his car in the process.

That flushing sound you hear is the GOP joining the Dems in disposing of the Constitution.

That doesn’t do us a damn bit of good as we sit by idly and watch our nation go to hell.

Something has to give.

The Republican party has proved itself worthless to conservatives over the past several years. Indeed, they should consider renaming the party the “Bend Over and Spread ‘Em” Party. Democans or Republicrats, take your choice; either way, conservatives are scr*wed. And by “conservatives,” one refers to anyone who continues to believe that quaint document, the United States Constitution, means anything anymore, or that the traditions of this once-great nation are anything but dead.

Bye-bye, USA, it was grand for a while.

Look, as corrupt as the Obama regime is at its core, it's not likely we can get anyone easier to drag through the mud and scandal than Eric Holder.

He's extraordinarily naive ~ if we say someone is a crook, he'll believe us and try to cover up things or stall investigations.

That's the kind of stuff we need to knock the Obama regime down.

I don’t know, I say let a few mud splattered Obama cabinet picks slip through...they always have more skeletons in the closet and make bigger targets for later on.

Why insure every one of them has a squeeky clean record going in? Then we have to rely solely on their missteps and scandals AFTER they are seated.

There goes our guns and our rights to self defense.

So you are just going to hand them over? Make sure you give them the bullets first.

I think we need to gear up for the Republican primaries. Time to vote in clear cut conservatives and then run them in the general election in two years. It’s time to send a message to the party that this is what we want and not ‘D’ lite. IMHO this is a better first step before tearing down completely and starting over again with a new party.

The committee's Democratic members unanimously supported Holder;
GOP Sens. John Cornyn of Texas and Tom Coburn of Oklahoma voted no.

“The only senator who voted against Holder was Republican Sen. John Cornyn. He criticized Holder’s role in controversial pardons and questioned whether he would protect U.S. intelligence agents who participated in harsh interrogations.”

I guess he got the fax I sent him yesterday! LOL

This is why we can’t have anyone from Washington leading the Republican Party.

“I hate to admit it, but I am afraid it is time for a new, Conservative Party.”

A Free Republic Party? An outgrowth of an online network of patriotic conservatives whose main objective is resetting America back on its traditional course?

hmmm??
