Oklahoma???
Is he just going to let white people freeze?
I pray everyone to be safe and warm tonight. If not, no one needs to worry....Capt. 0 is in charge now.
Prayers to everyone.
Just checked the IR / precip radar....the icing is extremely wide spread.......a serious SOB of an ice storm....looks to be a few thousand sq miles of serious mess tonight.
Prayers for everyone in the area.
Clearly it’s a racist-motivated plot by Obama. He’s having FEMA intentionally delay their response as an attack on areas where he suspects he did not get support from. (That’s how the libs spun Katrina, right?)
The weather forecast here keeps changing. We’re expecting 8-12 inches of snow. So much for gore-bull warming.
Pong.
On a serious note, I went through this here in New England on Dec 11th. A massive ice storm downed thousands of trees and power lines in my area. I lost power for a week but I was one of the lucky ones. Many others didn't get their power back until after Christmas.
Ice storms are no fun. I'd rather have four feet of snow.
Western WV here. 6-7 inches of snow this morning, followed by rain and freezing temps this evening. I just looked out at the ice forming on the power line that runs in front of the house. Hopefully we get through without any power outage.

Enough was enough. After the last power outage/ice storm I bought one of these and plugged it into my electrical box.
My sister is in a hotel room in Richmond, KY and she said there are 50,000 people with no elec. She’s not able to plug in her phone or comp for recharging, not able to eat as nothing is open..pretty bad
We still have power here on the stateline ‘twix AR & MO.
4 inches of sleet, about a half inch of ice beneath that.
North central AR is majorly trashed-they got way more ice than us.
But I suspect our power might be out by morning. The crap is still coming down.
Bush’s fault.
Hey gore, we need some global warmings.
I have already gone through one ice storm here in NH (and hopefully the last for this winter season). Being out of power for 7 days before Christmas was no fun, especially when the night were down in the low 20’s. But that was warm compared to the past week.
Will this be the Marxist Pig's “Katrina”? I hope not, for the sake of the folks in the affected areas.
I hope Al Gore’s mansion is iced in.

Not good at all, at all.
What’s expected around Huntsville, AL?
My dad is in Kansas City for a conference. Looks like the storm just missed there.
Right in the heart of it, here. Roads weren’t too bad on the commute home tonight, but the trees are heavy with ice. Every few, I hear another tree limb in the neighborhood come crashing down. So far, still have power. Praise God.
Got the oil lamps, fireplace, propane grill. We’ll be a-ok.
Of course, I’m a native New Englander, so this is a typical winter storm to me!
Isn't D.C. supposed to be iced-in tomorrow?
If it is, how much do you want to bet he'll cancel out?
If he can be driven through the streets to Congress by a limo driver and police escort, how much do you want to bet he'll cancel out, anyhow.
In other words, even this con-artist cretin, Gore, doesn't want embarrassing photos and uncomfortable questions tomorrow on the Hill.

Did Rove forget to turn off his weather machine? Did he take it with him when he departed? Or perhaps a counterfeit weather machine was made by the Chinese and secretly sold to Obama.
We may never know the whole, true story.
Destructive Ice Storm Rivals December 2008 New England Storm
A couple of inches of ice doesn't help, either.
Just checked in with my elderly father-in-law in Paragould, Arkansas. He is staying with other relatives because trees are coming down all over his property and he lost power. Now the power is out at the relatives’ house, too, their neighbors’ big Bradford Pears are all down, and they see a power line laying in the middle of the street in front of their house. They don’t have a fireplace. Brrrrr...
Here in Fort Smith, AR (on the Oklahoma border and Arkansas River) we had a lot of ice on everything today, but the roads weren’t bad. Kids were out of school today (they attend Catholic school and they close if the F.S. public schools do). We lost a big branch of our magnolia tree out front. Dh says lots of limbs down all over the city. It rained all day and now the temp has just hit below freezing and it’s sleeting. We’re getting another coating of ice on the trees and such, but it’s hard to tell if the roads are slick. I’m hoping it’s not so bad and the kids go back to school tomorrow (LOL) but we’ll just have to wait until morning to see.
Hearing from local news that NW Arkansas (just up the road)is pretty bad.
That said, it is not as bad as previous ice storms in the last couple of years. The biggest difference is fewer trees down and fewer power outages. Maybe between taking out the dead/weak trees and more agressive trimming, there are fewer trees near power lines.
