The Drudge Report blared the New York Post report by Charles Hurt that President Obama told the Republicans in Congress that they should go along and get along, and stop listening to Rush Limbaugh: "You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done."
Obama is clearly worried that Rush Limbaugh is going to be the GOP Speaker of the House, so to speak. Over at Radio Equalizer, talk-radio guru Brian Maloney is amused:
Beyond the absurdity of a Democrat barking orders at his political opposition, he's especially foolish to air his fear of Limbaugh and talk radio in a public setting. Now, what was long suspected by conservatives has been verified by the man himself.
The timing was no coincidence: after a rocky first week in office, the Obamists are also faced with a resurgent Fox News Channel, where ratings have been climbing since the moment he took office.
In particular, Hannity's Limbaugh interview, which took place in the latter's Florida studios, scored fantastic audience figures for the former's network. In overall viewers, Thursday's Hannity nearly trebled his MSNBC competition and almost doubled CNN's Larry King.

Shows how out of touch BaCrack is since the GOP does the exact opposite of what Rush says they should do.
I hope nothing happens to Rush. We need him around for a long, long time.
Obama does not like to be questioned. He can’t think fast enough to answer. Notice how he wants Republicans to be bipartisan, then says, no discussion, I won.
Obama = Inexperienced political hack not ready for prime time.
We are watching the collision of reality with liberal campaign bovine excrement and its going to be messy.
>Turn Off Rush Limbaugh Show: Will Media Notice?
Sure will. They will be the ones cheering the loudest.
Yep, blame Limbaugh, because your too lame to persuade others you way it is best, that’s being a man about it
The liberals dominate their point of view on ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS. Won't that mean we get to see less liberal programming on the TV news programs? Or Rush will have his own TV show?
Or for some obscure reason... the fairness doctrine ONLY applies to the radio?
Our Affirmative Action President only understands what he knows-he is a caricature, and so to him, so is everyone else.
Oh and when the Liberals were questioned on their attacks on President Bush this is what they were say:
“We have the right to dissent; this shows our Patriotism”
Yeah, think about that one.
Stand Strong Conservatives a Major Battle is ahead....and we can win!

To Liberals like our President, Rush & Sean in particular, are more of a threat to them than radical islamic terrorists.
The "Fairness" Doctrine applies only to conservative talk radio. Should it be reinstated, other media outlets would simply be as liberal as ever.
“I never really liked ..... Hannity and Colmes very much...I’ve really been impressed with Hannity so far.”
Since Alan Colmes left “Hannity” is 50% better.
Just did a little review of the fairness doctrine and the SCOTUS said that the issue will be revisited if this is used to suppress free speech.
Well, that didn't take long. Second post. Find a way to beat up on Republicans.
Congratulations.

"I WON!"
"Deal with it!"
“Obama does not like to be questioned. He cant think fast enough to answer. Notice how he wants Republicans to be bipartisan, then says, no discussion, I won.”
That’s it in a nutshell!! Even IF he could think fast, he could not beat the logic and common sense that Rush usually speaks.
What I think the GOP should do is say ‘ fine, we will bring back the fairness doctrine but we want conservative viewpoints in publicly funded schools - especially colleges. Anything that gets taxpayer funding- we want equal time- free markets dont need it anymore as we no longer just have ABC, NBC and CBS.
The guy earns $50 million a year to stir up trouble on the radio. I have no problem with stirring up trouble. I do, however, question the bona fides of a guy earning that kind of money for stirring up trouble. In any event, he’s hardly a sterling example of traditional American family values, is he!
I don’t need to beat up on the Great Ol Pretenders. They are doing a good job of doing that to themselves.
The “fairness doctrine” only applies to AM radio because theoretically, AM radio is a limited resource and belongs to the people.
Conservatism may be cleansed by hardship and communist democrat and atheist persecution in the next four years and hopefully the liberals will leave the GOP and become democrats again.
He's one of those guys who just can't stand it when people disagree with him or when he faces opposition, and... he really thought he wouldn't face opposition or criticism once he was anointed as President.
That's why he's so obsessed with Rush and with Hannity. They're in his melon, and maybe we can be too.
Maybe, just maybe, he could be messed with to the point that he wouldn't know whether to $#!+ or go blind.
Wouldn't that be a blast, to see him just lose it like Woody Hayes did on the sidelines back in 1978?
Too bad the GOP doesn’t listen to Rush.

All Things Considered, I guess we should soon expect Barry's Homeland Gestapo to begin delivery of Hope Dope to the masses while they blast NPR from loudspeakers. Dissenters will be ordered to report to Al Gore's Soylent Green factory.
[The “Fairness” Doctrine applies only to conservative talk radio. Should it be reinstated, other media outlets would simply be as liberal as ever.]
It is amazing how the American communists always use slogans and words that deceive and are completely opposite of their anti God and His Christ hearts.
Like the ACLU, which if you judge their works and ignore thier deceptive words would actually be “ Anti Christian Legions of the Underworld”.
Is that a recent picture? I don’t think it will be six months before he really starts to become unglued. He is obviously just the front man.
He is going to start looking really bad in photos very soon.
How stupid is this administration to sign an order to close Gitmo but HAVE NO WHERE TO PUT THE PRISONERS. Any State that approves them is going to have their citizens up in arms and knows they will face being booted out in reelection.
But I agree with one poster I read here. Put them in the worst facility in the country.
We won’t have a problem with them for very long.
On the contrary, you quite obviously have an overwhelming, obsessive, neurotic need to do so if you're willing to deflect the outrage due to Obama, and only Obama, in this matter.
Maybe not .... if it's just Rush and Hannity, look for Florida prosecutors to try to get Rush charged again on drug charges.
If they go Fairness Doctrine, it means they're trying to shut down the entire Right -- Laura Ingraham, Medved, Bennett, Prager, Levin, Dennis Miller, everybody.
“Will Media Notice?”
***********************
they notice but will likely not report on it, unless they portray it as big man h spanking them dar nasty repubs....
Not only political speak, Christian talk stations could easily be taken apart by the Fairness doctrine.
Isn't Fox in the tank for Obammy? Or did they climb back out? I haven't watched them in a while because they were joining the worshipful just before the election and seemed to remain there at least in the days just after the election.
Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction-like how the Democrats constantly play in Rush’s hands.
By mentioning Limbaugh they have probably guaranteed him another million listeners.
When a liberal politician criticizes a private citizen for his views, there is an automatic backlash.
Even Clinton controlled his anger enough to publicly vent on Rush on only one occasion.
Maybe this is Obama’s opening salvo to bring back the Censorship Doctrine.
I’m suprised Barry didn’t tell them to stop listening to Ann Coulter. I guess the thing we need to do is to keep listening to Rush, Hannity, Mark Levin, etc. Keep Palin in the news. It gets Barry crazy!
But I agree with one poster I read here. Put them in the worst facility in the country. We wont have a problem with them for very long.
I think we should turn them over to Sheriff Joe Arpaio at the Maricopa County Jail.
The Islamofascists might enjoy sunny Arizona and come to like their groovy new wardrobes:
You are so right. O has never had to actually accomplish anything before. His entire resume is as an activist and running for office, and he could hire people to run his campaign. Unfortunately for O and the country, the kind of folks that can run a campaign are not the kind to be running a country, too much baggage. I don’t think he has figured that out yet.
“The guy earns $50 million a year to stir up trouble on the radio.”
Are you effing kidding me? Speaking out against socialism is stirring up trouble? I guess we are not allowed to publicly oppose the socialist agenda? We should just sit quietly and let our country go down the tubes, is that it?
