Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) instructed United Nations Ambassador nominee, Susan Rice, to ensure she preserves the gun rights of United States citizens while serving as U.S. representative to the U.N. “As our nation’s top representative to the United Nations, the next United States U.N. Ambassador has an important responsibility to defend and protect our citizens’ second amendment rights from international gun control.” An “Arms Trade Treaty” that could threaten U.S. citizens’ right to keep and bear arms doesn’t recognize a county’s sovereignty has been introduced in the U.N. The treaty could impose restrictions on gun ownership and place strict registration requirements on law abiding U.S. citizens. “The U.N. should not be interfering with our second amendment rights,” Barrasso said. “The second amendment is not only right, it is a value and way of life we hold dear in Wyoming,” Barrasso is a life member of the National Rifle Association.
If we belong to an organization that wants us to not bear arms, we need to get the hell out of that organization.

The way I see it, the u.n. is saying they want to increase the number of deaths of police and peacekeepers who attempt to enforce or politicians who dare to ratify any such anti-Constitutional treaty.
That’s the ONLY acceptable result of trying to disarm American citizens.

If this administration, through its appointees, determines to abrogate the US Constitution in favor of UN treaties, then they should be prosecuted for treason.
I like the idea.
Everyone in the March would have to gather in Virginia. There could be one million armed citizens with loaded guns marching into the district. Everyone with one loaded rifle and one loaded handgun. There would be a minimum of 200 rounds per firearm.
It could turn into a weekend camping out on the mall. We could end it by marching through the highest crime district in DC and occupying it for 24 hours.

So did our troops. If such a thing happened [passing such a treaty], I would expect them to forcibly evict ALL complacent parties in Government: Executive, Legislative, and Judaical. (And I would expect them to have the full support of the people.)

The appeal for Wisconsin gun owner David Olofson begins today. Olofson’s rifle malfunctioned and fired two multi-round bursts. He has been charged under federal gun laws with the illegal transfer of a machine gun. We will have a full report tonight.

I hear you loud and clear. The UN tries that sh*t the sh*t will be on, that's a given. Many guys aren't giving up their guns. They collect them, they love to shoot in matches, hunt, let them try to take them.
Bet that would be the only crime free 24 hours that town has seen in 30 years...
The only thing that Susan Rice has to tell the UN is that our gun rights are none of their business. So forget even approaching the subject. Refuse to even talk about it. Walk out of any meeting that trys to control our gun rights.

There was a big database crash several months ago. It seems that many older articles were lost. Same with the Keywords database - many articles lost their original Keyword tags.

The results of him trying to enforce such a move should be ugly. I hope we never see the day.
If you get the error message “No such file (give_legacy_article)”, simply hit F5 (refresh) a few times. Eventually the article will load. It’s a known problem with the legacy database of older FR threads.
