Why are they all closing their eyes/looking down? Isn’t it traditional to look at the FLAG while singing the anthem??

Joe Biden’s wife looks like she doesn’t know the words to the Anthem and is reading them from a book,pamphlet,etc.....doesn’t it?

I swear to God - that’s how it looked they were singing it when I watched it live.
Mrs. Dr. Biden looked like she was trying to find the words in the bulletin and I caught her whispering something to Joe - at least he didn’t shhh her this time. Michelle just looked good and mad about something. Obama was cultivating the Messiah look and Hillary had her earnest face on. Bill looked like he was miles away and thinking about something else.
Who all had a hangover in the crowd I wonder?
Only Hillary and Barack have their HANDS OVER THEIR HEARTS!!!!! Michelle does NOT, nor the Bidens, nor Billy!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!
Michelle looks ashamed, Barack looks overwhelmed, Joe doesn’t know where he is, Jill is trying to hide the fact that she’s with Joe, Bill looks angry having to be there, and (God help me) Hillary looks like the most normal one in the bunch.

Besides the hands over the hearts (or not) thing, the picture seems to have been taken at an odd angle that makes them all look like they’re leaning over.

We watched it live also. Aunt Esther knew the first few words and then just moved her mouth around for a while and gave up. I think her ZER0 husband did something to piss her off last night. Maybe he couldn’t avoid stomping on those men’s size 13 hooves/cankles attached to the ends of her wrestler-like legs.
What a hateful sour-puss of a face she has! Imagine meeting her and the Hildabeast in the hall of the West Wing? I shudder at the thought of it.
