NEW YORK, Jan 21 (Reuters) - Several executives at News Corp’s (NWSA.O) Dow Jones & Co headquarters have received envelopes containing white powder, a company spokesman said on Wednesday.

It is unknown how many executives received the envelopes or who they are. It is unknown what the powder was made of.

The envelopes went to executives at Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal newspaper, both based at an office building in lower Manhattan. The Journal’s security staff is investigating the matter, the paper reported on its website on Wednesday.
