It’s not Joe, it’s “the obama people”. All these drips show her up, robbing her of any power. Kennedy will get the seat too, castrating her GOOD

Old Joe may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he knows his lilitations.
He isnt smart enough to be secretary of State and he couldnt hide that in that office. He can hide where he is Obma wont bother him for advice and he gives the appearance of being a wheel.

It would seem that Republican women are more equal than Democratic women —
Democratic males seem to have to dominate their wives to get/stay elected—and are fearful of the wives that we don’t feel any need to dominate, like SARAH PALIN, for example.
So, it looks like we got your Progressive right here.

What I want to know is what did Biden have on Obama that he would offer him ANYTHING? Biden’s reputation precedes him, so it’s not like Obama didn’t know that Joe is a loose cannon! There are a gazillion people in DC that are better qualified than Joe, that Obama could have chosen. People who don’t have loose lips! IMO, there’s more to Obama picking Joe than we know.

The Democrats were stupid enough to make Biden head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee?

hee hee hee.... what a “dis” for Hillary!!
Hillary got the Biden table scraps tossed on the floor for her to grovel around on her hands and knees......
How nice for Mrs. Biden to rub it in: “Hillary, my husband may be a Bozo but he’s Obama’s bozo now and you’re just the hired help!”
Maybe Hillary will be mistaken for the “cleaning lady” in the midst of some sensitive negotiations, ala Madeline Albright in Bosnia.....

re: white lie
It does seem hard to believe that Biden or anyone would be offered the “choice” where VP and Secy of State are involved. Any candidate for POTUS is going to figure out who is the best “fit” on the ticket by whatever criteria the candidate develops. I find it implausible that Obambi said to Biden “Hey, Joe, you can be my VP if you feel like it, but consider whether you’d rather have Secy. of State, or maybe any other position you choose in my admin.”
I don’t think it works that way..... Biden was probably just bloviating to his wife to puff himself up, and she was foolish enough to (1) believe him, and (2) let it slip out.

Noöne is going to name a SecState before being elected, so why offer it?
The only circumstance is as "Hill, drop out and I'll make you SecState" - but what threat was Biden that he needed to be bribed or placated?

OK, I’m not posting from work any more.
Larry Sinclair was arrested in DC at his press conference in June and taken to Delaware on apparently fabricated charges. He was eventually released without trial. Joe Biden III is Attorney General of Delaware, and his father will tomorrow become VP of the USA. The extraordinary story that Senator Joe Biden was offered his choice of the two top jobs in the Obama administration could quite plausibly be connected to the Biden family’s valuable service to Barack Obama. Anyone who thinks differently is entitled to their own opinion.

Simple, Biden was the token white guy to get the white vote during the election. BHO knows he's harmless, we will probably never see poor Joe and Jill. It was only to get elected, and then to have a weak guy to push aside.

Im amazed that this post has gone 40 deep without anyone posting the obviously relevant words Larry Sinclair. Thanks for bringing that up. I do remember reading something about Joe's son who is the attorney general for the state "taking care of the Larry Sinclair problem" and then he left for Iraq. Is that what you're referring to? I can't remember the details. :o)
