sustained isolation, sleep deprivation, nudity and prolonged exposure to cold

Sounds like a frat/sorority weekend at a Rocky Mountain ski resort.

You want torture?

How about this...you are at work and suddenly there is a tremendous crash and fire. After huddling with your co-workers you realize you are 80 stories up and cut off from rescue by an out of control fire below you. The heat is becoming so intense that you can’t stand it much longer. So you you try and call your loved ones and if you’re lucky you get through. Maybe you get to say goodbye to them directly or you leave leave a voice mail that will haunt them forever. Then you break a window, hang hundreds of feet above the ground and let go.

That’s torture.

Remember the Professional Wrestling wing of the GOP is what is destroying it.

The ass-kissing terrorist wing of FR already beat us.

That’s it. Well said—a good reminder to the bleeding hearts that would rather innocent peoople die than guilty scum suffer a bit.

I understand your point, but I don’t care. I am ready for Islam to be cleansed from this earth by any means necessary and as fast as possible. After seeing what they did in India, and after seeing every thing else they have done, they can go straight to Hell.

It is the luxury of our civilization that allows us to fret over pointless details such as “can we look ourselves in the mirror?”. Can you look yourself in the mirror when you’re dead? I think not. The Army of Islam is coming for us, my friend. Do you intend to survive, or do you intend to look in mirrors? Britain held the door open for Muslims, they are still gentlemen, and they are about to be overtaken from within, and we are just a few steps behind them. Your decency will be used as a weapon against you, this is the method of the jihadi.

You’ll get no argument from me; I agree.

Anyone that voted for a candidate or to reelect a Congressman to office where that candidate or Congressman was opposed to war against radical Islam wherever it is—Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Turkey, Great Britan or right here in the USA—is a traitor to the rest of us.

The current make up of Congress means most Americans have forgotten, don’t care, and/or want this country to suffer again.

Expanding a war from those organizations and individuals conduct or aid terror into a war to everyone who shares their religion is not a decision that should be made operationally when deciding whether to torture someone - that would have to be done at highest level.

And we are not at war with Islam even though it feels like Islam is at war with us.

Frankly, I would argue that even if we go to war with Islam it would still be useful to try to divide them and cause stress within them rather than engaging in acts which tend to unify them...

I am not for torturing them per se. I am not opposed to it to the extent that information gathered could be used to prevent an attack, but to torture them for no reason as they did their indian victims is not something that I would support. That would be barbarism on our part.

What I am saying, however, is that I can understand why certain populations of this planet have come to the conclusion that ethnic cleansing of muslims is the only suitable recourse. At this point, I agree with those decisions. They have left us no real choice, and I am no longer will to attempt to distinguish between good and bad muslims, because I can’t, and endeavoring to do so may cost me my life.

I am not emulating them. You are. As for study, it’s always wise to study and learn well the tactics of the enemy.

It is sad that you have such a skewed comprehension of the reality surrounding yourself.

But we don’t give somebody the death penalty in secret and without carefully justifying it.

Better check with the folks in Hiroshima, Nagasaki and Dresden on that one.

Why don’t we see liberals denouncing “Palestinians” for voting to bring back crucifixion? Wouldn’t they consider that torture?..and it’s fatal.

Read my 14,000 or so posts... or check with Jim himself and get back to me on whether I am Conservative enough for you. The question is if FR is becoming too “liberal” for me. It is certainly far too tolerant these days of socialists and other such rabble (not talking about you here).

I lurked on FR for several years before actually joining. A very good friend, who is retired Air Force, initially got me interested. I was usually very impressed as there seemed to be a good number of conservatives with professional backgrounds and excellent research skills. It was a good place to come and find accurate information and commiserate with other like-minded and really nice people. These days I see a bit more of the knee-jerk type of post and a bit less of the good, sound research. I also like the willingness of many to attempt to honestly look at all sides of each issue and then use facts to come to a conclusion.

As conservatives, we are all going to have to really work hard together to overcome what looks to be a very bad future for this nation, made even worse by the corruption and unsound thinking in Congress....and soon I believe we will see a very radical agenda implemented by Obama. I can tell you that our military is very concerned about this. My husband and I had to get our military ID’s updated this week and, while on base to do so, we got an earful about how they think he will be much worse than Clinton on our military.

It may be up to our Military to ultimately save our Republic. That is why I support our Military in many ways... both locally and internationally. Thank you and your family for your sacrifices... they are not ignored or unappreciated!
