"...beyond my purview as Governor, I also urge you to consider how the economic stimulus package will affect the national debt and the future economic health of the country."
Sarah dear I fear our country is doomed anyway.

A huge percentage of Alaska is tied up as federal lands, and Alaska is already the #1 recipient of federal dollars.

Good for Palin. She knows the money is undeserved and unearned. Then again, if we absolutely must be taxed, I would rather she get it; she will use the money for much better use than say...Governor Patterson of NY.

The letter only added Kodiak Missile Launch Facility upgrades to the four gas pipeline road projects Palin already requested. Begich says in an estimated $800 billion dollar economic recovery package he wants to know why Palin is only asking for about $150 million dollars. Becuase unlike you Socialist bloodsuckers, Palin cares only about the necessary issues?

This rocks!! Sarah knows what it is going to take to blast Obama out of the WH in 2012 when all of his facades are revealed to be nothing more than marxism and socialism!! If she bites the bullet and asks for a hand-out..it weakens her conservative argument.
Brillant move on Sarah’s part!!

If you have to ask then you'll never know anyway.

“he wants to know why Palin is only asking for about $150 million dollars”. ...................... What projects would he have in mind for the additional money? Maybe he’d like to finish the Bridge to nowhere? If he doesn’t see what the Governor wants maybe he shouldn’t be representing the state. This guy is probably just another run of the mill hand out politician who has to be watched. Yeah, bring in more money for your bread and butter projects that will get you the votes. Sarah is running the state the same way as she would run the country, Good for Her!!!

How predictable. And stupid. He’s probably not the only senator who thinks he’s a governor. But that’s what pork and earmarks are for, eh?

So national defense and energy production are her top priorities?

Governor Palin is one of the few, if not the only governor in the USA without her hand out to the feds for a bailout. STATES RIGHTS! The US is screwed. Drastic times call for drastic measures. Governor Palin should consider dissing Begich and start moving Alaska towards a secession dialog.
