I tried to vote for Israel but it said the service was temporarily unavailable.
The 65% didn’t surprise me when I saw one of those “Are you smarter than Bush” popups on the page.
Very bogus. I hit submit and a disclaimer came back saying they could not count my vote.
I got the same message, but hit the “back” button on my browser and tried again succesfully.
So did I. You can't even get into the website and probably because they see the numbers for Israel growing. My advice? Bookmark tne site and re-visit it frequently during the day until you are allowed in and can vote.

Except for a hiatus from 70 to 1948 CE, Israel has been the major nation of Palestine since about 1500 BCE and Palestinian Jews have been there for over 2500 years (and almost as long in Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Arabia, Yemen, and many other nations until they were dispossessed by Muslim governments). It's sad to see non-Jewish Palestinians huckstered and used since the late 1940's by the surrounding nations of Egypt, Jordan (a newbie of a nation which comprises 2/3 of Palestine), Syria, and now Iran via Hamas, into fleeing Israel and then pulling the rug out from under them and making them into political pawns. There's a bad guy here, but it isn't Israel.

Israel is *part* of Palestine. Historically, and I mean 20th century history, Palestine included what is now Jordan, Israel, the so called Palestinian territories. Jordan then became "Trans-Jordon" (across the Jordan), with Palestine reduced to mostly current Israel and the "West Bank".
When I was a grade school, and even junior high, student, if you said you were going to Palistine, you meant Israel, and the West Bank, then under Jordanian occupation.
I went another route to get in and cast my vote for Israel and it refused my vote...funny.

It worked for me. Got what seemed to be a blank page, but it was just loading slowly. Clicked on Israel, then got another page with a security code that I had to enter. Then got a page allowing me to comment.
Why is it either/or? I support a peaceful middle east where no one is trying to kill anyone. Where is that choice?
Seems to me they are asking Who do you want to see destroyed? Israel or Palestine.
I can just see it now:

I clicked on ‘Israel’- entered the security code then got the “service unavailable” page. I tried entering “Palestine” and it registered the vote promptly-no problem.
What a shock.
When did people get so stupid? Hamas started the whole damn thing by Lanching rockets into Israel so when Israel got pissed off and started defending themselves by kicking Hamas in the nuts, everyone gets pissed at Israel.

Uh-oh, the pro-israel votes must be increasing because when I clicked it, I got a “Service unavailable” screen. I guess they didn’t want Israel to win and stopped the poll.
That's probably why the ragheaded TERRORISTS are "winning" this poll.
Hamas is a TERROR organization. They MEAN to kill innocent Israeli men, women, and CHILDREN, and have been doing so for YEARS. The Israelis have EVERY right to defend their civilian population by whatever force they deem necessary. They do not, like Hamas and others, PURPOSEFULLY target innocents. The Israelis are in a WAR for the very life of their country and countrymen, given the statements of their enemies who want to wipe them off the face of the earth. Liberals say, "War is not the answer", but in this case, it appears to be the ONLY answer to terroristic savages who only want to kill and die (to become "martyrs"). For the sake of the Isaelis AND the majority of the Palestinians, who MUST want peace, I hope the Israelis wipe out Hamas. Until then, they will continue to kill innocents while hiding behind their own people - innocent men, women, and children. The deaths of these innocents lay at the hands of Hamas, NOT Israel.
