The teenagers weren't thinking about last-minute holiday purchases when they pulled into the Montgomery County shopping mall two days before Christmas. Instead, one of the teens later told police, the group went to the crowded mall to randomly shoot someone.
All four, including a 14-year-old girl, are members of the Bloods street gang in Prince George's County, authorities said. Two of them opened fire in the parking lot of Westfield Wheaton Shopping Centre when they spotted members of a rival gang, police said.
In announcing the arrests yesterday, county police said the four were being held on charges of attempted first-degree murder. Police identified the suspects as Antwaun T. Lee, 18, of Greenbelt, Andrew Davies, 19, of Hyattsville, Anthony D. Taylor, 19, of the District and Aliah Kinard, 14, of Alexandria. Kinard is charged as an adult. Samantha L. Quick, 20, of Greenbelt is charged as an accessory after the fact.
Charging documents allege that the shooting started with two words from Taylor, whom police identified as the leader of the Lanham gang.
"Bust them!" Taylor, known as "Kchaos," is alleged to have said upon seeing the rivals, members of the MS-13 gang.
On his command, police said, Lee and Davies opened fire. Police said the bullets struck one of the MS-13 members, a 20-year-old Silver Spring man, in the shoulder and shattered the windows of a car occupied by two bystanders.

Ocassionally words just fail me.
Well, basic verbal communication seems to have eluded the “teens,” too, since what they really meant was that they planned to shoot MS-13 members.
Coming to a Mall near you.
I live in a cow town of 6,000. Even WE had a gang-related (MS13) shooting three summer’s ago. Residential area, 2pm in the afternoon, one BLOCK from an elementary school playground. Granted, school was out for the yera, but kids still play on the equipment on a daily basis.
THIRTY-THREE rounds fired.
And yet, they missed, LOL! One perp was slightly wounded. Three of them went to prison.
And our Police Chief is STILL against CC for his sitting duck constituents!
I was working at a mall in Omaha, NE during the Christmas holidays in 1993. Some punk wannabe gangsta shot a teenage kid in the back of the head at point-blank range because he was a wannabe of a rival gang. It happened right outside of the door where I was standing.
These kids are stupid, clueless, and dangerous. They should be kept out of the public arena forever.
“Antwaun” !!!???
Bwaaa! Extermination is the only thing they deserve. Include “Antwaun’s” parents, just for the sheer stupidity of their naming skills!
They must do it in fours.
Seems like a lot of weird things happen at the mall.
“And our Police Chief is STILL against CC for his sitting duck constituents!”
He wants control, and if he’s the only “enforcer” in town, his job is assured.
And by 2020 they will be the majority of people in the USA under the age of 18. I grieve for my grandkids, their children, and all other kids who are being raised right.
Well, heck, as long as they shot MS-13 maybe we can move it to Rock Creek Park and make it a weekly ritual.
Sort of “Lions vs Christians” gangsta style.
Yep. He was ‘Johnny on the Spot’ that day. NOT!
Of the children involved in these shootings — how many are from intact father-mother homes? How many have single moms?
I'm sick of these 18-20 year-old violent adult predators being described as "teenagers" as though they're just some rambunctious kids enjoying crazy youthful indiscretions.

They should but they won't.
Eight to ten years tops of hard time spent pumping iron and making new friends.
They'll walk out of prison before their 30th birthdays unemployable, angry and physically imposing. Possessing IQs in the 70s, they're hard to reason with when they decide it's a good idea to kill you after you've already handed over your ATM card, car keys and the last $40 in your wallet. They'll shoot you in the head for five bucks in broad daylight and then go about their day without a care in the world. They are true predators, no different than lions or bears except that they're allowed to live amongst us.
Don’t cha know they are always kids when it comes to expecting responsible behavior. If its related in any way to sex then they are adults.
“They are true predators, no different than lions or bears except that they’re allowed to live amongst us. ‘
They are far worse than lions or bears. Those things will only kill you if they are hungry.
These animals will kill you for fun.
During that period I was about two miles from that mall when four black kids 'fronted me while I was walking back to my car in a shopping center parking lot. Their leader opened the conversation by telling me exactly what I could suck. Apparently I had been selected at random as part of their afternoon entertainment. I was probably lucky to walk away unharmed.

Yes. That was my last visit to the shopping center.

We have a mall about 5 miles away that was finally shut down a couple years ago. The County still doesn’t know what to do with it. Last time I went to the adjacent move theater, I carried a .380. f course, now there’s some new stuff being built about 5 miles from there, as though we really need it...
The other day I was watching some “cops” type show, and heard a familiar sounding name. Turns out, some murder in Richmond was being featured, and the name of that mall came up in conjunction with the perp’s whereabouts that evening. I had a car stolen one time about 1/2 mile from there years ago... Nice ‘hood, though they’ve since bulldozed down some of the public housing in that area.
On my first to the Wheaton area I managed to get off the beltway and turn the wrong way down Georgia Ave., heading toward D.C. It was about midnight, and the gangs were out. I finally found a 7-11 with a pay phone, next to which a police car was parked, lights flashing. I phoned the people I was visiting and was told, "You went the wrong way! Get out of there immediately!" Which I did.
Let me be the first to say "Sir, you may wish to reconsider your choice of caliber."
)
It was, I think, on Georgia Ave., on the right hand side going toward D.C. maybe a mile inside the beltway. Since this was my first visit I didn't recognize landmarks, and I could easily be wrong about the distance. It probably wasn't even a 7-11, that is just my generic term for convenience store. The street scene reminded me of Watts (L.A.), yet another area I quickly learned to avoid.
Good story about Matt Drudge.
Again, a mea culpa for the run-on. The good news for the TSA is, I'm in no shape to drive 70 miles with an attitude. The bad news is, they can't beat on a Honkey-American while they let the rest of the shitpile filter through un-sniffed. I guess we'll just declare it a mulligan until next time.

If you build it, they will come.
(And I’m so very sorry for your loss. We lost a nephew this past month. God Bless You.)
We can thank our government for rewarding these girls and making it attractive to have a child (children) out of wedlock.
Shouldn't it have been spelled Antoine?
18 19 19 20 14.
It is NOT fair to call these perps “teenagers”.
all but one of them are considered ADULTS under the law and at least one was NOT in his teens anymore.
Nope, I’ve seen it spelled that way on official documents (not this guy’s, but someone else).
Youts.
But if they are going to take a high fallutin’ name, they should at least do some research.
What next? Antjuan?
Sounds like a hate crime.
Have you ever tried shooting a pistol "gan'sta style", held sideways?
I'm a pretty darn good shot ... and I have trouble hitting the target that way.
Ms-13 vs. the Bloods...isn’t that special?
Remember Bush’s atty gen said these guys are just misunderstood youths....
Glad I proofread and edited that before I posted it.
Shouldn't it have been spelled Antoine?
Or . . . A'Ntjuan? You know, the other French way. (/sarc)
How in the world did they get past the background checks in order to buy firearms?
And didn't anyone in the NRA gun safety class notice they might not be on the up and up when they were being certified for the gun permits?
And how did they ever get CCW permits from the local police in the first place?
Didn't these children know that all those gun laws were for their protection?
Paging Mrs. Brady.....Paging Mrs. Brady...Please pick up the courtesy Clue Phone.
< /sarcasm >
And this is probably part of the reason...
"Efforts to reach ... family members of the five suspects were unsuccessful."
And good luck with those "efforts".
Google and be amazed.

Will I find twins named by their uncle?
Denise and Denefew?
