Teenaged births up of the first time in 14 years. The highest rate of of out-of-wedlock births ever recorded. Lots of older moms. See link for interesting stats: like, August is the month most babies are born.

Hmm, women spending too many years concentrating on their careers and not worrying about finding a good man? Then realizing they’re going to have to do it on their own while they can still produce eggs?
Full disclosure - I was technically unmarried when my daugther was born. We married the following year.
The media makes single moms into heroic figures. They are generally portrayed as good and wonderful, and something to be aspired to. Heck, even Jesus’ Mom was a single mom (well, except for that pesky Joseph who married her). Most of the Christmas movies I watched this season centered on a single mom.
Unwed Moms are either divorced, widowed, or sluts. They need to come clean.
None of it is my fault, I am pleased to report.
More children is good. At least they are born alive and not aborted.
May the single mothers have family help abimdamt/
