I miss Audiogalaxy. I downloaded tons of great old recordings from that back in the day. And it was through an open browser, didn’t have to use PtoP.

I got onto Napster early on and then used KaZaa. I didn't think of it as stealing because what I copied was stuff I already had on old vinyls or hard impossible to find oldie singles.

I've seen other sites but they are all poor commercial rip offs. Either you pay to "rent" a cut that you keep in their controlled files or the down loads don't convert and work in play lists which I create with WinAmp. I have a good collection, but there are sooo many more old blues singles I'd love to get ahold of. Too bad, those days are gone for good.

AG was my download site of choice too. Myspace more recently worked the same way, but they’ve had to change their format around.
