The only thing that really bugs me about it is that it slows down getting into the stadium. Before pat-downs I could get from my tailgate to my seat in about 15 minutes. Now it takes 30-45 easy.
And the patdowns themselves are nearly worthless. Raiders fans seem to keep showing up!

straight.... A pro sports team in the Mecca of Homosexuals wants the right to physically touch their fans in a place called "Candlestick Park".

Staples Center has metal detectors at all entrances. You would think they would have this at all football games when you compare NFL crowds to the docile crowds at NBA and NHL games.
