The problem with the last 20 years has been 12 years of liberal globalist Bushes sandwiched with a Clinton. Hope Jeb loses anything else he runs for and stays away from republican politics.

Sounds good to me. The Bushes did what Reagan wouldn’t do...fight terrorism. George W lowered taxes on top of that creating the greatest economic time in American history statistically in the middle years of his administration.

Of course the Dems 2006 congressional victories and the subsequent Dem-led Fannnie/Freddie debacle and refusal-to-drill decisions have killed our economic expansion, but Bush did what he could and if the intellectually lazy conservative Bush-bashers whould have supported him rather than complain every step of the way we could have prevented even these two problems to an extent.

In 2016 Jeb will only be 63, and America will be exhausted after eight years of Obama’s bungling. His chances aren’t that bad, whatever his brother’s legacy looks like now. I’d give him better odds than Palin or Jindal of being the 2016 nominee.

George Bush Sr burned his NRA card in a temper tantrum.

That along with the way he has teamed up with Bill Clinton since he left office haven't impressed me.

His recommendations no longer mean anything to me.

Jeb Bush?? No way! I may have voted for both, George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush, but I don’t want a third Bush presidency!

I agree with you... George the son opened our borders to the Mexicans and they have really taken advantage of our “hospitality”! I don’t want to be in an union with Mexico and Canada!

Ronald Reagan’s greatest political blunder, which we are still paying for today, was his choice of running mate.

I hope he runs for senate. He would make a terrific senator. He speaks well, is relatively conservative, and would be a great voice for the people of Florida.

There are so many better conservatives..

Oh wait this is from the boob who refused to sign an executive order allowing engineers fleeing the impending Chinese takeover of Hong Kong to emigrate here. They emigrated primarily to Australia, New Zealand, And Malaysia instead - taking their companies and their patents with them.

HW might have been better than his son, but he sure wasn’t any great shakes in the oval office.

His opinions are only marginally more convincing than Jimmy’s.

Here in lies the dilemma we have as conservatives. We can not put our trust in a person,as it will never end well when that occurs. For every bad thing that can be argued against President George W. Bush (most are genuine) I can argue for 10 good things. This does not make him a better conservative of course as we have a record to look at for that answer. We must always fight for Conservatism and project those principles. Do not paint with a broad brush what you think a person might be but do as should be done and go to the record. Whether Jeb Bush runs or does not run makes no difference to me however what does is the Conservative agenda put into action.

Please God no!! No more stinkin’ Bushes & no more stinkin’ Clintons. Bushes being equated with “conservatism” in any way shape or form since the Reagan years have been a disaster, considering they’ve been anything but. The Bush family has been the worst thing to happen to the Repub party. Enough already.

After all the abuse heaped on him and his son, I would think Bush Sr. would want to get the family the hell out.

But then again, I thought the Kennedys would think the same.

Politics must be incredibly intoxicating is the only answer I can come up with to explain this self-abuse.

I got this link from a FReeper yesterday. One out of one thousand FReepers will take the time to watch all 3 1/2 hours of this. If they do they would understand why GW Bush has done what he did, and why Obummer will do as he's told as well. The Money Masters.
