That is because, for the most part, our media is pretty anti-American. I watched the first ten minutes of Rachel Maddow last night... she was giving her audience an “education” on the history of the Israel-Arab conflicts — HER version was not complimentary to Israel. She also managed to throw in a ding at Bush for being in Crawford on vacation and not giving a flip about the carnage — something I’ve come to expect from all the commentators at MSNBC... pretty sad IMHO
Re-reading what I wrote I can see I was using short hand again, in re the mortgage I was referring to the government paying people’s mortgages like that woman was praising when she voted for Obama.
[The media is missing a great opportunity, if only they could get their bias out of the way.]
The media doesn’t want her to be ‘liked’, but we like her and will continue to support her.
