Israel's air force fired around 20 missiles at targets in Gaza City on Saturday, causing heavy damage, a Reuters witness said. The IDF has confirmed the report. (Hanan Greenberg and Reuters)
They asked for it ... and they received.
Of course, they are goading Israel into war because the world can’t stand it when the Jooooooooooooos defend themselves.

FYI - this should draw a Hamas response
Uh-oh...
ping
...and remember the jihad is global.
It’s time for Israel to clean house and launch the BIG ones.

“IDF launches strikes on Hamas targets throughout Gaza”
By JPOST.COM STAFF
Yep.
I read IDF sources this week that said they would start with surgical air and then put boots/Armor in.
Hamas will put their rockets up as well.
This is the beginning. Next....Iran. 24 days to Obamanation.
In before the “nuke ‘em all” crowd? ;-)
OPINION:
Hamas seems pretty cocky lately from what I have been reading on the internet, so my guess is they are pretty well supplied and ready to go.
A look at Iran

Now, let’s see if Olmert has the guts to finally follow-up this time and get the job done right.
Let's hope so. At this point, he has nothing to lose.
If true, that is big.
“If true...”
Yep, breaking news can change quickly and I don’t know if those numbers are confirmed.
the IAF isn’t dones yet it looks like:
from Haaretz ticker -
11:50 IAF fires 30 missiles at targets on Gaza coast; heavy damage reported (Reuters)
12:14 Gaza residents report fresh IAF strikes in central, north Gaza (Reuters)
Thank you for that update.
Yep, warning red, weapons free!
GOOD SHOOTING!
With Hamas, who knows, They could even be trying to keep pressure (possible late 2008, early 2009 strike?) off of Iran by pulling this garbage and getting the IDF to concentrate on Gaza instead.
sounds like BS - but here’s what’s on the Haaretz ticker

Jerusalem Post reporting:
According to witnesses, among the killed was Gaza police chief Tawfik Jaber.

“TEXT - Israel Defence Force on Gaza strikes”
Sat 27 Dec 2008, 10:50 GMT
[-] Text [+]
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “JERUSALEM, Dec 27 (Reuters) - Following is the text of a statement by the Israeli Defence Force:
Israeli Air Force aircraft a short while ago attacked a series of Hamas targets and infrastructure facilities in the Gaza Strip. All Israeli pilots returned safely to their bases.
The IDF will continue its operations against terror in accordance with constant status assessments by the IDF Chief of General Staff. This operation will be continued, expanded and intensified as much as required.
The Air Force activity came as a result of the continuation of terrorist activity by the Hamas terror organisation from the Gaza Strip, and the continuation of rocket launching and targeting Israeli civilians.
The targets that were attacked were located by intelligence gathered during the past months and include Hamas terror operatives that operated from the organisation’s headquarters, training camps and weaponry storage warehouses.”
CNN TV reporting 150 dead, 250 wounded, including children and other apparent civilians.
BBC TV...Hamas orders revenge attacks on Israel
i guess at this “early” point of the conflict it´s impossible to say who is telling the “truth” (as if someone would ever tell the whole truth). for me i don´t thrust the information “both” sides release.
Hamas was attacking Israel, Israel did something about it, now Hamas is going to attack Israel again.
The global jihad is 24/7 and its mentality is a like a vicious pit bull with rabies.
Israel news channel 10 - 13:01 Gaza mosques issue calls for all militant groups to respond to IAF strikes (Ch. 10)
Well, I’ll take a stand on this...
Breaking news changes quickly, but eventually the dust dies down and the facts emerge.
My rule of thumb: Who would I want for a neighbor?
Israel: Yes.
Hamas: No.
Pure common sense.
