IMHO, anyone going into a store with the mindset of acquiring a Slim Shady...AKA Eminem CD has criminal tendencies anyway. Am I stereotyping?...If so...SORRY
Poor old plagerizing Joyce. What bad news can I dredgeup from years past.
Ahh, that’s it, shop lifting.
“IMHO, anyone going into a store with the mindset of acquiring a Slim Shady...AKA Eminem CD has criminal tendencies anyway....”
Especially if they play it loud enough for me to hear it.
The increase does come from somewhere, though. The economy may have something to do with it, although not necessarily in terms of creating new shoplifters. If it's an increase in missing inventory, it might be that cuts in store personnel have made shoplifters bolder. If it's an increase in arrests, it might be that fewer customers mean security people have an easier time keeping track of potential shoplifters.
We deserve everything we get from this. I am sick of it and no longer care what Liberals think of my total contempt for them and what they have done to our country/society.
I am specifically addressing the title and context of the article, which suggests that people are being pressured to steal due to economic/financial hardships.
That’s a load a bull. I am sure that there are isolated instances where individuals had shoplifted in order to survive (food and clothing), but this article states that the increase in theft is as a result of the economic downturn.
These people who are shoplifting are criminals. I’ll save my sympathy for those individuals who truly deserve it.
While I agree there is anxiety about gun grab by the coming rat control, there is also lots of anxiety about future crime. A little reading about the economic collapse in Argentina would make one interested in buying a firearm. Unfortunately, it will be too late to buy a firearm if an economic collapse occurs.
because it is easier to steal a cd than a computer to log on with.
