Good to hear! I’ve always been a fan... no one plays a smarmy womanizer as well as him (tho Neal Patrick Harris isn’t bad).

"it is good he had the photo op to show others we need to support the anti crime warriors and its ok to be pro gun."

And you know each of those guys in the photo with him will have a framed, signed copy in their offices! Heck, I would! lol

“the bad — Did you really need the photo op and publicity? (if done soley to promote the cause, then I can respect that”

According to JD Hayworth on his KFYI radio show, David wanted to keep the donation quiet, but Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon decided to make it a photo opportunity. More here:

Odd thing to do for anyone. Is there any ulterior motive for this or is he just one great guy looking out for cops when the government has failed to do so?

Good for Spade. Too bad he was a Kerry supporter in 04.

That is good to know, thanks for the information and confirmation. hat's off to Mr. Spade.

Interesting note at the link:

It seems they wanted the publicity, which is good.

A photo op like this in Hollywood is the equivalent of painting a “Kick Me’ sign on your back.

In 2007, he also donated $25,000 to the family of Phoenix officer Nick Erfle, who was shot and killed by an illegal alien. Click here for the story about that. Sometimes people are just nice, with no ulterior motives.

Too bad he was a Kerry supporter in 04.

I am not even sure anymore how to make that assessment.
