Remember the John McCain that many Arizonans grew to like over the years - the one who stuck by his principles but was not politically dogmatic or doctrinaire, and instead tried to represent the interests of people in general?
Well, that John McCain seems to be back after a long journey into the dark jungle of presidential politics where he seemed to veer from his familiar middle-of-the-road approach to politics - an approach that a lot of Arizonans prefer, based on their long support for him.

Too bad that some Arizonans actually believe that McQueeg (D-Mexico) actually represents them. |

OLIGARCHY in the making. Time to face it people.
Sooner or later squished just like grape.
Hey, come on! That possum was just “reaching across the aisle”!
Now he is road kill stew.
A slight bump on the center line of life.
Only if you are the driver who ran over it. The possum would take a different view if he wasn't dead.
wow.. the old mccain suddenly appears out of nowhere.
The old McCain is going to be the swing vote now for the Dems in various legislation they want to get through. Mark my words. He could be the swing vote in amnesty legislation, more campaign reform legislation, bailout legislation, and on other issues. He is a RinoRat.
I still hate the fact that we paid for his disasterous campaign. He is basically the welfare candidate.
LOL
Great. “Red Sun” likes McCain again. It used to be published by a far left state senator and afterward by Claude Pepper’s nephew.
Where is my $50 per hour lettuce picking job, McLiar?
This piece of garbage is exactly why newspapers are tanking.
This is a load of nonsense.
McLame is a lefty p.o.s.
Good ole McClame. He is back. He was the best candidate since Dole. He is the perfect RINO MSM Buttboy.
He campaigns as a conservative in Arizona and acts as a skunk in DC.
Attention Arizona FReepers, who in Arizona can run against this Weasel in the GOP primary. McPain needs a darn good repudiation for his Weaselly behavior and his deadly politicas.
so why didn’t they want him as president? They had their chance to ‘reform’ the GOP and make it more moderate. We (ok I mean people like Hannity and the BushBots) would have defended his policies just like they did with Bush. Nope, sorry. We’re going for a real conservative next time.
I did not think it was possible to dislike this buffoon anymore but I was wrong. I am not happy obama won but not sad this buffoon lost
Shucks, watta darn shame Brooks' mind is going......and so soon after
the election. Let's hope medical science comes to Brooks' rescue. The
punkneos' engineering McC and Rooty's defeats (dumbest campaigns in
US history)-----does have consequences (snicker).

to startup an oil business with his cut."

Crossin’ the highway late last night
He shoulda looked left and he shoulda looked right
He didn’t see the station wagon car
The skunk got squashed and there you are!
(Chorus)
You got yer
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
You got yer dead skunk in the middle of the road
Stinkin’ to high Heaven!
Take a whiff on me, that ain’t no rose!
Roll up yer window and hold yer nose
You don’t have to look and you don’t have to see
‘Cause you can feel it in your olfactory
(Repeat Chorus)
You got yer
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
You got yer dead skunk in the middle of the road
Stinkin’ to high Heaven!
Yeah you got yer dead cat and you got yer dead dog
On a moonlight night you got yer dead toad frog
Got yer dead rabbit and yer dead raccoon
The blood and the guts they’re gonna make you swoon!
(Repeat Chorus - One more time!)
You got yer
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
You got yer dead skunk in the middle of the road
Stinkin’ to high Heaven!
C’mon stink!
You got it!
It’s dead, it’s in the middle
Dead skunk in the middle!
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
Stinkin’ to high heaven!
All over the road, technicolor man!
Oh, you got pollution
It’s dead, it’s in the middle
And it’s stinkin’ to high, high Heaven!
John McPain is the epitome of the crackup of Republican primary voters, most of whom are so uninformed that they have to vote for the familiar name on the ballot to hide their ignorance.
Don’t count on AZ. People there really wanted Oprah’s Choice like their neighbors NV, CA, and NM. But it was home-state pride that held them for McPain, as it narrowly did for Goldwater 44 years earlier.
As much as true conservatives despise the results of November 4, few are remorseful that McPain won’t be in office on Jan. 20.
Although I doubt he would ever be called a jokester, he does have a definite sense of humor and it is showing again. He is able to kid around about his race for the White House after a period of contemplation and perhaps resignation to his fate.Yeah, me too. I'm still laughing my butt off. (fricken mutt)
I really don’t feel the remorse of him being in the office of the Presidency. The political atmosphere is too unstable, even for Obama. I feel that Sarah Palin should thank her lucky stars that she is back home in Alaska, even though we need fine and moral leaders in Washington, which we are Bankrupt, without any signs of any “bailout” soon. I lost alot of respect for John McCain for many obvious reasons, and we sure as hell don’t need him in Washington for another six years. I jsut hop that the people of Arizona will put his sorry butt out on the streets come next election.
Bullfrog
"I especially want to thank punkneo Douglas Feith for faking documents on his home computer so we punkneos could dupe the president."Doug Feith, ooooooh boy. I checked wiki and if"Without Feith we would not have been able to transfer trillions of US dollars into the Mideast, into the pockets of war profiteers,
And Richard Perle ... that snake should be in prison. He is scum who will work for the highest bidder.
Today, candidates start running and soliciting money more than two years before the election. Candidates with the strongest links to the party establishments have a natural advantage in this regard. That advantage is made almost insurmountable by a primary system designed to anoint a "winner" as soon as possible (preferably no later than March) and therefore allow for a concentration of fund-raising efforts and the early implementation of a party communications strategy. The news media, for their part gleefully support this system, as it drives ratings and sells papers in the course of such a brief and frenzied primary campaign.
The current system does largely achieve its desired goals, but at a steep price: the winning candidate is invariably a creature of party insiders. For the Democrats this means a well-connected city or state "machine" politician (Clinton/Gore/Kerry/Obama), and for the Republicans, a party stalwart with a long family history in Republican politics (Bush 41/Dole/Bush 43/McCain).
In the end, candidates who might truly represent governmental reform (as opposed to phony promises of "change") are left to fight amongst themselves, siphoning votes from each other. Likewise, anyone who stands on principle has little time to explain their views to a public whose understanding is limited to media sound bites and 12-person "debates", the value of which is often squandered by dumb "gotcha!" questions and focus-group-tested answers.
I liked the old system better. Long primary seasons and short campaigns. Unlimited private individual financing. Smoke-filled rooms and backroom deals. We got better candidates that way, or at least more interesting ones.

This just has to stop.
Let's start getting some traction here....
IF this website is to mean anything.

In the middle? I beg to differ... In the midst of his campaign, after his "redemption" at Saddleback, he was drifting toward the "middle"...
Now he's back to driving on the LEFT side of the road, yelling at everyone to get the hell out of his way.
As I said all along, the betrayer betrays. It is in his nature.
As to the rest:
...he's yellow, and he's a skunk for crying out loud!
ROTFL! Your humor was not lost on me!
