Removing All Doubt Obama Would Cede Southwest to Mexico
American Patrol Report -- December 19 "We are all Americans, whether you are legalized or not"
Anyone who still doubts that Barack Obama is determined to grant de-facto amnesty to millions of illegal aliens should explain to the rest of us why he picked Hilda Solis to be Secretary of Labor. A long-time supporter of la Reconquista, the Mexican takeover of the American Southwest, Solis is also a leader in the movement to silence Americans who speaks out against the invasion, specifically Lou Dobbs, Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly. At a 1996 meeting of the Southwest Voter Registration Project, Solis said, "We are all Americans, whether you are legalized or not." She was the

It is time for us to just accept the election of Obama. Many member here refused to vote for McCain because he was not conservative enough. Well I held my nose and voted for him to try and prevent this stuff from happening, but many on this forum did not. So, oh well, we have no choice but to accept this. Of course, we knew this would happen, but many here did not care enough to prevent this.

They'll be following the exploits of Senator Caroline Kennedy. It's going to be 24/7 Caroline/Obama, Caroline/Obama, Caroline/Obama.
Caroline & Obama are going to totally dominate the media, and it's really going to rankle the Congresscritters. Just wait and see.

Knock that crappola off! We held our noses, contained our barf and voted for McCain. I for one, wish I had NOT. McCain would have given us the same ol’ amnesty, hispandering junk. Give us a conservative!!!!
I will hold no animosity for anyone who didn’t vote for McCain. He didn’t deserve it.

I have often wondered that myself, but 13 million McCain voters would have had to stay home, not sure if that many did. If they did, I hope they are happy.
Even if your starting QB is an a$$hole, wouldn’t you rather win the championship rather than make a statement? I would have rather had a 80% republican than any % of a democrat as our president.

Just remember, she's the Real American. According to her and the entire Mexican goberment.
But hey, let's not beat up on the Kenyan guy too much. Bush appointed Carlos Gutierrez, a Cuban who lived in Mexico pretty much his entire life until he "immigrated" to Michigan to be a corporate executive at Kellogs. He's a loyal, true blue American, right? Loves the Constitution, solid with the Anglo-Saxon Protestants....right....and I'm the King of Spain.
At least with Hilda we know what we've got: a stone racist, Anglo-Saxon hating Mestizo who thinks that the Western U.S. is really Mexico.
And she's in our government! When she takes the oath of office, look for the crossed fingers behind her.

Obama Labor Pick: Media Must Be Held 'Accountable', Accused O'Reilly, Dobbs, Beck of Inciting 'Uneasiness' Toward Latinos
By Kerry Picket (Bio | Archive)
December 18, 2008 - 20:54 ET
President Elect Barack Obama picked Rep. Hilda Solis (D-CA) as his Labor Secretary today. While groups like La Raza, N.O.W., and NARAL are likely to be pleased, Solis is also likely to please the liberal group Media Matters. In late May of this year, she teamed up with Media Matters to present a report ( titled "Fear and Loathing in Prime Time/Immigration Myths and Cable News") that said cable news shows hosted by Bill OReilly, Glenn Beck, and Lou Dobbs presented a negative image of undocumented immigrants.
Media Matters has the You Tube Video video here. At the very end of the video Solis says, We all have to be responsible as well and make the cable companies responsible.
On May 27th, Solis was interviewed by National Public Radio about the Media Matters report. The new censorship doctrine may very well come in the form of government-mandated diversification of media. Solis talks about wanting a more accountable media and that certain cable shows have already incited hate crimes. (my emphasis throughout:)

Probably true, and I bet McCain has only begun to stab his party in the back. He will reach new heights by being one of Obama’s biggest supporters in the Senate on many issues, probably on more issues than we’d even guess.

With Frankenstooge poised to steal Minnesota, if everybody follows their party line, all it would take would be 1 RINO senator to vote for.

You are both wrong. McCain is 100% Republican and 1% conservative, if that much. We don't need Republicans in office we need conservatives. McCain would have only been marginally better than Bozo on many points. I voted for Sarah and can't wait to vote for her again. As for accepting the Clown of the Century as our president, not me, I will fight this jerk for the 4 years he is in office and if he is re-elected I will fight for another 4 years. I don't have to accept a communist as president and I won't.

Obama and other dem's better be pretty careful about any amnesty/immigration plans in the near future. There are plenty of people out of work vieing for the jobs that illegals have taken. "Illegals, doing the jobs that Americans won't do" just doesn't pass the smell test anymore.

I know it seems bleak, but this could actually be good for those of us who wish to live freely. Mexico has way fewer environmental regulations, for instance, and just generally don't seem to be as hell-bent to cripple their people with needless, and endless rules, taxes fess, and the nanny-state.
Their men are still manly, and they love big families. There's no way a proposition 8 would even make it to the ballot.
When they take back the southwest, we could just do another Texas-type thingy.

You two need to understand that;
The Democratic and Republican Parties have become merely opposite wings of the same bird, and it's the American people who are getting the bird as our elected officials serve their corporate masters and the special interest groups that dominate both parties.

Well I held my nose and voted for him Aunt Bea,
Four million fewer voters turned out than in the election of '04. 4 million! Of course, most of those who failed to show were Republicans of one sort or another. NERs. Non-Engaged Republicans?
Apparently, some nose-holding lessons are required. Whether or not there will ever be a viable third, or fourth, party is a future concern. Presently, Conservatives make, or not, their views known within the Republican Party and perforce must often vote for the "Lesser of Two Evils," rather than a Conservative. Staying home is plain stupid.
Also, these "Open Primaries," are what gave us the McCain candidacy, allowing the media to not only select Obama, but our candidate as well. IMHO, failing the establishment of a viable Conservative Party, the place for Conservatives is on the RNC, and in more party posts. Also IMHO, the power structure of the official Republican Party, looks to me as if the genetically damaged offspring of the 1930's rich that infest my country club men's bar, control most of the official party posts from top to bottom. While this undoubtedly prevents these chinless spineless wonders from screwing up the family business, it has turned the RNC into a bad joke.
The Democrat Party, OTOH, is staffed from top to bottom with vicious professional politician street fighters who know exactly what they are doing and don't care about the niceties, or the law, for that matter. Just look at the way Al Franken is able to steal a Senate seat, or the way we lost Washington State.
Not only do these people staff the Democrat Party, but they have run the government at every level for the past 60 years, forcing leaders like GW to depend upon them even as they sabotage his efforts. It also means that in those brief interludes when the Democrats are out of power, the government still supports them financially!
And still 4 million "Republicans," or "Conservatives," stayed at home on this election day.

B4 - great post.
The democrat party isn’t what it was 10 years ago either. They will do anything to win and it works - whether it be through legal action or by being more accomodating to others within the party (as long as you have a D after your name you are ok). Didn’t the republicans used to operate that way?

Actually they can have the southwest. Well, the wife and I need to relocate first, but after that, have at it.
New Mexico is a lot more than I'd ever imagined (beautiful in many places), but the majority of people here went solid blue on everything from politicians to tax hikes, and that can turn beauty into damned ugly in a hurry.

California, Nevada, Utah, and most of Arizona and New Mexico, plus a bit of Colorado and Wyoming, were part of the forced sale known as the Mexican Cession, in the 1848 treaty ending the Mexican War, but the Gadsden Purchase of 1853 was voluntary—the Mexicans have no claim on that territory. Giving them back the land north of the Gadsden Purchase would make for a pretty strange border. Tucson would still belong to the US, but Flagstaff would be Mexican.
