The U.S. is now facing a wide new array of weapons being marketed worldwide by Moscow and Beijing. In some cases the weapons are of Western origin. In other cases, the weapons in question are obtained from Russia and China. One such weapon sale threatens to upend the balance of power in the Middle East.
Russia stands poised to sell Iran one of the most advanced antimissile systems ever developed despite repeated denials from Moscow. Iran plans to acquire the Russian SA-20 -- NATO codenamed "Gargoyle" -- surface-to-air-missile.
The SA-20 is not only a challenge to the air forces of other Gulf States but to even the most advanced U.S. aircraft. The SA-20 can shoot down aircraft (without stealth technology) at ranges in excess of 100 miles.

Sounds like we need to sell more stealth technology to Israel.
We’ll probably sell it to China instead,if past actions are indicative.Meanwhile, back in the US,GM is asking for taxpayer bailout money as they ramp up production in China and says they won’t shut down Russian plants, while they will shut down US plants for the month of January.
Why? Israel is selling to Russia which sells to Iran. Why don’t we sell weapons to the gangs in our cities. What the hell, they wouldn’t use them on us would they. The world is full of fools.
Each country looks out after its own national interests. Israel worries about Israel. Notice that they are selling predator unmanned drones to Russia.
This country need to recognize that there are forces out there that want to dismember this country and to kill its citizens, rape its women and use the men as slaves. This is why we need the Marines.
“Notice that they are selling predator unmanned drones to Russia.”
Maybe Israel has embedded code in software that when these get in the wrong hands, give them control or monitoring capability.
“Maybe Israel has embedded code in software that when these get in the wrong hands, give them control or monitoring capability.”
Even if they did that, they are still screwing us. Then they want our F-22 aircraft? Forget it, that plane should stay US only!
Don’t worry. One of Obama’s plans is to sell or give our secrets to Russia and China in exchange for putting pressure on Iran.
The Russians and Chinese will tear the thing apart and reverse engineer it, thus getting rid of any bugging problems.
O will give Russia and China the design specs for the F-22 and F-35, and the NMD systems as a sign of “Friendship”

Israel didn’t sell predators to Russia.
it doesn’t even have the predator.
Israel develops and produces it’s own unmanned drones and has received a request from Russia to by them, but it hasn’t agreed yet.
Thank you for pinging me.

Russia, China flex muscles in joint war games
Reuters: Aug 17, 2007
CHEBARKUL, Russia (Reuters) - Russia and China staged their biggest joint exercises on Friday but denied this show of military prowess could lead to the formation of a counterweight to NATO.
"Today's exercises are another step towards strengthening the relations between our countries, a step towards strengthening international peace and security, and first and foremost, the security of our peoples," Putin said.
Fighter jets swooped overhead, commandos jumped from helicopters on to rooftops and the boom of artillery shells shook the firing range in Russia's Ural mountains as two of the largest armies in the world were put through their paces.
The exercises take place against a backdrop of mounting rivalry between the West, and Russia and China for influence over Central Asia, a strategic region that has huge oil, gas and mineral resources.
Russia's growing assertiveness is also causing jitters in the West. Putin announced at the firing range that Russia was resuming Soviet-era sorties by its strategic bomber aircraft near NATO airspace.
