At lunchtime, cafeterias are filled with hundreds of kids. If each school lost 50 kids, that’s 12,500 kids in about 15 minutes.

I also have an in-law on the police force here and unlike the “security guards” in Mumbai (sp?) they carry guns and aren’t going to be afraid and run away from the “ISLAMIC/ARAB” Terrorists

If there are any patriots left in the CIA, perhaps they could leak the report on deficiencies in the security at major newspaper publishing sites around the country, especially New York City.

US Cities and the libs that run them would be well advised to look to history for lessons on deterring attacks.

During WWII, Japanese leaders were debating an invasion of the US. During those discussions, Adm Yamamoto is reported to have said, “You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.”

If the US is serious about deterring attacks and stopping them if they happen, laws can’t restrict first responders from carrying the right tools. First responders are, by definition, the people on scene when it happens and usually are not police and firefighting professionals.

We need to get back to a rifle behind every blade of grass, a handgun behind every brick.

Politicians want inexpensive, effective response? Easy. Liberalize concealed and open carry laws. Subsidize or sponsor true first response training for citizen volunteers.
