Yesterday the American Patrol Report focused on Barack Obama's links to the Service Employee International Union (SEIU). Within hours we learned that the SEIU was intimately involved in the Gov. ARTICLE SNIPPET: “(CNSNews.com) The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) which Illinois Democratic Gov. Rod Blagojevich allegedly hoped to strike a three-way deal with to fill the states vacant U.S. Senate seat gave President-elect Barack Obama key endorsements in Democratic primaries and $13.3 million in campaign funds for the 2008 presidential race.
Blagojevich was indicted Tuesday on corruption charges that he essentially planned to sell the Senate seat left vacant when Obama was elected president last month.
According to the criminal complaint, Blagojevich hoped to work out a deal in which he would appoint Obamas top choice to fill the U.S. Senate seat, take a high-paying job through the SEIU-affiliated group Change to Win, and the Obama administration would approve the unions legislative agenda. “
