For Edwards it wasnt missing picture day or a case of the flu that kept him out of his last yearbook and the class of 2009 composite it was a dog collar and makeup......

Ironically enough, he was also voted Most Likely Not to Appear in the Yearbook.
To: day10
I’d like to see a picture of his parents.
To: day10
In my day, he’d get his ass kicked not for how he looks or what he represents, but because he’s just stupid. What a jerk.

Uh, I think they should put the kid’s pic in; it’ll be very instructional later in life and he’ll never be able to deny what a bozo he was in HS. Most kids DO grow out of this nonsense; of course I realize not all do. Boy George is still alive and well (and in jail now I think).

In my opinion, let him have his picture in the yearbook as long as he’s not being obscene. Kids should be able to dress however they want as long as they are clothed and don’t have obscenities on their clothes. He will look like a fool but that’s his problem. Let him explain it to his kids 20 years from now.
To: day10
Hey, Clay, try to get a job looking like that in anyplace but your local use CD store or tattoo shop.

My best friend from age of 12 was very very punk (80’s). Ironically, as much as people gawked at her and her multicolored mohawk, I realized that she was really hiding. As long as they were looking at the clothes, the hair, the makeup... they weren’t looking at “her”.
She grew up to be a really nice homeschooling mom if you can believe it.

Gee, somebody has to be the Emo kid at the school. Its required by law.In 10 years, he's gonna be happy that his photo was omitted from the yearbook.
That being said, every yearbook needs the goofy Emo kids (or "new wave kids" when I was in high school) asserting their individuality. If that's how he dressed every day in school, then that's how he ought to be remembered in his yearbook photo. What does it really matter? Ten years later, we all laugh at our senior yearbooks.

She grew up to be a really nice homeschooling mom if you can believe it. At a reunion, i noticed most of the wilder kids in HS had become the stay-at home moms, attorneys, etc, and the good, clean kids, if they were still alive, were all drunk, doing coke in the bathroom, and generally unhappy with life.
