the Dem party is now officially the party for the elitists, rich Starbucks drinking yuppies and the uneducated sheep who look for a D when they vote
George Soros gave half of that in prepaid credit cards , well I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he did.
How much of that was from foreign sources? Just a spot check of the small amount credit card numbers might be interesting. Any currency conversion charges, Mr. finance director?
In America 2.0 it is. Our Constitution has been thrown out by the Obamunist who campaigned in Kenya and Germany and boasted of being a Jakarta street kid.
Well, McCain was hoist on his own petard. He can’t blame anyone but himself. OK, the media was complicit in absolving Obama from his broken promise, too.
the money didnt start coming into mccain’s campaign until he selected Sarah as his running mate. imagine how much less he would have raised without her.

Watch the following YouTube video as renowned British comedian, Eddie Izzard, tells CNN that he made a donation to Barack Obama’s Presidential campaign. Izzard says that as a citizen of the UK he couldn’t vote for Obama, so he supported his candidacy by making a donation to his campaign.
According to the FEC’s records, Mr. Izzard donated $2,300 to Obama’s campaign - under an LA address...

Candidate’s staffers insist Gaza brothers refunded, but men say, ‘We did not receive any money back’ In response to a WND story, Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign contends it returned $33,500 in illegal contributions from Palestinians in Hamas-controlled Gaza, but the donors told Aaron Klein of WND today they have not received any money. The Wall Street Journal reported it spoke to Obama officials who said the donations from three Palestinian brothers were received between Sept. 20 and Dec. 6 last year, and virtually all of the money was returned by Dec. 6. The campaign said, however, the refunds were not reported to the Federal Election Commission due to a technical error.

How’d that campaign finance reform work out for you, McCain?
About half those funds came out of the middle east—imagine that.
His ‘homeys’ are gonna have to spread their own wealth around. I am not paying more taxes, period!
did he pay taxes on that? where is the accounting of the spending? nice piece of bling michelle received... how was it paid for? can’t be from his senate salary, since he hasn’t been much of a senator this year...
Yea, and He does not have to report the money to the FEC, and McCain does! Doesn’t that frost your butt!
Anyone read any MSM'ers whining about the need for campaign finance reform?
That formerly burning issue for the MSM seems to have been extinguished by a two to one money advantage for the Democrats.
No bias though!

If you look at the big picture, Obama basically has to outspend McCain twice to get the 100 EVs in the seven swing states (FL,OH,IN,NC,VA,CO,NV). Out of these, FL,NC and IN are very close. In Ohio, conservatives just sat home. In Colorado,Virginia and Nevada Obama recruited massive number of voters and got them out to vote. This is what happened in a nutshell. He couldnt budge the red votes in Georgia, Montana and Missouri enough to get a landslide. He should really be worried because if his cronies dont get the unicorns and rainbows he promised it is going to get ugly.
Shouldn’t just the vast amount call for some kind of an investigation? Not necessarily the disparity, as McCain did agree the take public funds. But man that’s a boat load of money for such a short amount of time.
McCain could have opted out of the 86 million taxpayer dollars, just like 0, and like they both did in the primary, but he was afraid he couldn't make it up on his own.
Pretty poor candidate, actually.
