The story has time for the detail that CAIR calls Jihad Watch an "Internet hate site," but no time to tell readers that CAIR itself is an unindicted co-conspirator in a jihad terror funding case, with several of its officials convicted on various jihad terror-related offenses. No time to include the fact that its cofounder and longtime Board Chairman has said: "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."
No time to point out that maybe CAIR wants people to believe that this is an "Internet hate site" for precisely the same reason that the OIC wants people to believe that Islamic jihad terrorism has nothing to do with Islam, and only "Islamophobes" dare point out that the terrorists themselves say otherwise: after all, people with their guard down aren't defending themselves, are they?
No, no time at all to get into all that.

Religion is only one component of a violent political ideology attempting to to impose sharia law on non muslim societies.
Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction.
CAIR should be celebrating, they’ll probably have their own liaison officer in the White House, assuming that Comrade el-0bama actually gets sworn in.
One of my fave quotes. It is interesting that Blaise Pascal wrote that primarily about CHRISTIANS. He was, as well, one of my favorite Christian apologetes. He was kind of a 17th century CS Lewis, except that he was far far far more celebrated in his field of study than Lewis. He was an unbelievable scientific mind, inventing the calculator ("an arithmetic machine"), proving space was a vacuum, discovering and demonstrating the science of hydraulics, all before age 20. He, like Lewis, was NOT a Christian in early life. He was rather dramatically converted in 1654 (at age 31) and just "left" science, spending the rest of his life attempting to defend Christianity. He became a Jansenist, which was the closest thing to reformed they had in France (after the Hugenots were wiped out), and was a powerful spokesman for the beauties of GRACE and God's predestinating work.
He is known for his famous "wager" (If you atheists are right, I lose nothing and molder away, If I am right, you lose your eternal soul), and his poignant statement that there is a God shaped vacuum inside every man which only God can fill.
He is really one of my heroes.

ANTI-BLASPHEMY RESOLUTION CURTAILS FREE SPEECH, CRITICS SAY" by Jennifer Lawinski (ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Religious groups and free-speech advocates are banding together to fight a United Nations resolution they say is being used to spread Sharia law to the Western world and to intimidate anyone who criticizes Islam.") If you disagree they will chop you to pieces with the sword.
