So many of them act that way and we need to put them on abject notice. If enough of us do, then perhaps they will change their ways...and if not, then next election we simply must, in the words of Andrew Jackson, "Route the vipers out!".

Give it to ‘em...at least they will know that folks like you are out there...and if you can get more and more people to do the same...it will give them some pause.

I was only poking at your typo. You typed 20101 in your original post instead of 2010 or 2012.
I have little doubt she hurt anything in Georgia. It would have been more interesting to see her ability in a swing state such as Ohio or even in a state that leans blue but is not a cinch blue state. With the noise of a third party candidate out of the way and conservative Georgians knowing what the stakes were they stopped playing around and got serious in the runoff.
Palin has to a point sort of developed rock star or a cult like following. I'm admittedly not a huge fan of hers, but if she showed up in my area and I was free, I would go for a look see.
But as she matures, I can see my skepticism morphing to support.

This is a very good letter, except that the dangerous union card check legislation must also be addressed.

Card-check, good call.
And, quite seriously, how about nuclear power (yes!), income-tax reform (please please please), and the (Un)Fairness Doctrine (NWIH), while we're at it?

Ping! We need to start writing. I just wrote both my Senators and my Congressman.
To: Jeff Head
Great post! I added these:
10. Any effort to require non-secretive union voting.
11. Any effort to re-introduce any type of Fairness Doctrine.
12. Any effort to derail nuclear power.
13. Any effort to require community service of our children.
14. Any effort to cut necessary military programs and spending.
15. Any effort to bailout industries that are responsible for their own demise.

In particular, after the victory of Chambliss in Georgia (which was also a huge victory for Sarah Palin, showing the influence she has and what we can expect on a much larger scale in 20101)Aw, come on. Do we have to wait that long?

Thanks...my bad for not even catching the humor of my own typo!
I believe as Sarah does more and more campaigning for herself without the handicap of having to avoid issues where she differed with McCain, that we will all be more and more enthused with her.

Yes, she seems hugely popular wherever she goes. I also have a pet theory that global warming will be looking like a real boondoggle in (probably less than) four years, which will make her look even smarter in retrospect. (Though of course the LSM will try to bury/spin this, so as usual she’ll have to try real hard to get the message and the facts out)
