Occam’s Razor would produce a $12 birth certificate and not spend countless hours and thousands of dollars in lawyer’s fees fighting the lawsuits.

They’d present one to a high-profile case, have it ruled valid in a Federal court and set the precedent to dismiss every other case.

And when asked for it months ago .... he stalled ... for months.

The font in those days came from typeset similar to Times New Roman.

Additionally, the type was offset and uneven, as oppposed to letter alignment in say Microsoft Word. Think Dan Rather here.

I agree. Have the people who did all the checking on Hospitals in Hawaii checked to see if their really is a birth announcement. I know a birth announcement is basically meaningless, but it would be good to knock this fish out of the water.

Everything else about Obama is fake, I wouldn't be surprised to find out the newspaper birth announcement was, too.

Ok, so two pieces of documentary evidence, a birth certificate issued by the State of Hawaii and a contemporaneously prepared newspaper advertisement are outweighed by third hand hearsay regarding an interview his Swahili speaking grandmother had last year?

I don’t think that will fly under the Federal Rules of Evidence.

The newspaper announcement is the real deal. Something like this is very easy to verify as pretty much every public library would have it on microfiche.

The skeptics claim that the announcement means nothing as it doesn't prove Obama was born in Hawaii, only that an announcement was made in Hawaiian newspapers.
