Everything involving a governor and a president or president-elect involves politics.

I suspect that she suspects ulterior motives from Obama. And I do too.

So, what is the real reason that Obama might want to invite all 50 governors to a meeting? Perhaps he's not really interested in all 50. He might be interested in just one, that being Lingle. The invitation to meeti with all 50 governors might be an excuse, a ruse, to set up a private meeting with Lingle and not make it look so suspicious. He has a private matter to discuss with Lingle and the only way he or someone could think of bringing about the meeting is to invite all 50.

Otherwise, a meeting with all 50 governors at this stage of his pre-presidency has no value.

Occam’s Razor tells us there’d be big RAT buzz that all is kosher with the BC - if it were - , but there isn’t.

The Razor would also ask why is Obama spending so much time and money defending this.

actually, Obama stated he had “visited all 57 states and had one more to go”....then he added he had not been allowed to campaign in Hawaii and Alaska by his staff......this guy can’t speak without showing his ignorance.....he can read a teleprompter very well though.
