And I’m sure Teddy has railed against the CIA and the NSA. The CIA are pansies next to the KGB. Ted deserves a kick in the ass for such a stupid statement.

"And the KGB, I think, was an honorable place to work. And it, it gave people in the former Soviet Union, a communist country, an opportunity to do something important and worthwhile."Ted has part of it correct. National security is an honorable profession. I wonder if he feels the same way about our armed forces and our CIA?

He said something like "we don't hold it against someone for formerly working at the FBI." So national security is important to Ted. It just depends on whose nation is being secured.

I really think people like Turner, Penn, Madonna, Streisand, et al should just move to the utopias of Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, etc.
Then we’d all be happy.

Ditto for its TV network, CNN. What...the CNN that was telling the terrorists in Mumbai the whereabouts of potential victims who were hiding, as well as notifying the terrorists of the authorities' moves in advance?

He said something like "we don't hold it against someone for formerly working at the FBI." I don't think that Louis Freeh and Jamie Gorelick should have been given jobs at Fannie Mae NOR should they be given jobs in the OBAMA Administration. But then, I love this country.

He was hit in the head one too many times by a boom on one of his racing yachts.
Being rich doesn’t mean that you have to be sane or patriotic. There have been too many rich traitors in American history, with Turner just being the latest. We have George Soros (a Kapo for the Germans during WW2); some of the Fords and Rockefellers (check where their foundation money has gone); Corliss Lamont, a financial angel of the Communist Party USA; Samuel Rubin (Foundation), an identifies Soviet agent and CPUSA member; and others.
Money can corrupt the mind as much as syphillis can.

Agreed. Watch the movie The Lives of Others about the former East Germany. It gives you a good idea about life in a communist country and East Germany was far more benign that the USSR.

Wow...what a moron. Does Ted realize that he would have been a target of the honorable KGB? After they took away his media empire and his property, for the good of the State, they would have sent his simple ass to a gulag for reeducation.
It never ceases to amaze me how people with wealth and riches are so quick to romanticize a murderous regime. Does Ted not know of, or just refuse to acknowledge, the millions that died under Communism? Were the Nazis and the Gestapo more or less honorable in his eyes? We already know the answer re Pol Pot and his VK buddies.

I would love to see them working in Castros sugar cane fields. A priceless picture. But of course that type of work is strictly reserved for the labor class, where the rich commie sympathizers here in the States instead fantasize about being among the commie elites -- those who order others into to labor camps.
