A local woman who volunteered to help count ballots in the U.S. Senate recount in Wilkin County probably would not have been allowed to do so if the county auditor had known that she had also worked for a Senate candidate in Otter Tail County.
"Had I known that, she probably wouldn't have been part of the team," Wilkin County Auditor Wayne Bezenek, told The Forum of Fargo, N.D. "That would have been the right thing to do."
Maggie Vertin spent two days last week in Fergus Falls for Otter Tail County's recount as an observer for Democrat Al Franken. She was also one of eight volunteers who assisted with the Wilkin County effort in Breckenridge on Saturday.
Vertin said she was able to set her politics aside to help with the Wilkin County recount. "I feel I can be completely unbiased," Vertin said. "Everyone in this room is partisan to some degree."

What? A Democrat lied about their role in things in order to get their guy to win?

If she was on the up and up why didn’t she tell anyone that she was involved with the campaign?
Oh, I forgot she is a dimwit.

What’s the count like now?
To: ButThreeLeftsDo
“I can be completely unbiased yet everyone here is biased.” Yep, works for Franken.
Coleman should demand a recount of the recount. Franken will.

Over 65% of the votes recounted and the Star Tribune is reporting that the Coleman bleeding has stopped, for now. He’s picked up a couple of votes and leads by 187 votes....

Good news. Hope he picks up some more.
Frankin couldn’t run a tattered radio show at “Air-America”, so how does he think he can help run a State?

Frankin couldnt run a tattered radio show at Air-America, so how does he think he can help run a State? He's inept, unkempt, arrogant, ego-centric, incomprehensible, unfocused, and a cheat. Based on present occupants of the US Senate, he'd fit right in.

He ran a pirate radio station. Well it was licensed programming to be sure but money was stolen from a children’s charity to pay staff.
And a co-host on the syndicated network made SEVERAL on air threats against the President. She eventually stumbled and blamed it on an unknown Republican assailant.

Maybe Coleman will be elected, and will do for the Dems what Larry Craig and Ted Stevens did for their party. If I were a Dem, I’m would not be sure Franken’s image as a Dem would be a good thing for the party.
