It is a defining indicator that the embarrassing, self inflicted dumbing down of America is all but complete when people vote against their own self-interest.
I'll say it: it is obvious that many Americans are not very smart. Quite dumb, actually. To listen to the Sirius radio interview with Obama voters from Harlem mindlessly cheering on Obama as the interviewer attributes McCain's policies to the Democrats is pathetic and an inescapable indicator of the blind leading the blind. Not Godbless or goddam America! God help America.
Trying to explain how our economy works and why lowering taxes is always better for them and their country, than imposing higher taxes is an economic bridge too far for many of the Obama sheep. Unfortunately there is no "See Spot & the Economy Run" book for the hooked on phonics crowd. Many of these numbskulls can't balance a check book or spell "e-c-o-n-o-m-i-c-s" but they sure know who will give them stuff. The lie is impossible.

I couldnt agree more with this article. Obama supporters, the majority of them anyway, must be the dumbest bunch of morons to ever vote. They are a bunch of know nothing, useless idiots incapable of standing on their own two feet. They look to the government to solve their problems. They are children looking for a parent. Their uselessness, weakness and feebleness is offending and loathsome.
Until we shed the dead weight this country has, we will never progress.

This is right out of the "I kid you not" file... this happened to me just this past Wednesday.
On a somewhat similar note I burned the two flaming libs that I work with right down to their loafers. I have a neat desktop background pic that someone here posted of the “Obama logo” integrated into a Star Wars Death Star. The really loudmouthed lib (black) saw it a couple of times and from his comments clearly did not have a clue what the logo was. About the third time this happened quite a few of the co-workers where right there at my desk so I called him on it. Pointed right at it and asked him if he knew what it was. – silence – So the other flaming lib (white) steps over, looks, and mumbled something about “it looks familiar” indicating he did not know either.
I pulled up http://my.barackobama.com/ and the entire office burst out laughing.
So much for their repeated claims of "knowing the issues."

Oh wow, I think I said this about a dozen times throughout the campaign. I hated this part of the frenzy of the “historical vote”. McCain couldn’t explain why he was a better candidate to the crowd that can name the American Idol judges, but can’t name the three branches of Federal Government. There is just no way to get through to them.

Maybe we do need a breakdown. To get through to the dunderheads and make them understand how it all works. It’s just sad that those of us who do attempt to manage things in our lives have to suffer right along side of them.

I think and Bortz agreed with me, that you should have to take a voting test, like you do a driving test before you drive. The more I learn, the more I like John Adams.
I have 2 things to say to BO voters when I run across them. Instead of asking them “why” they voted for them (it’s always “hope” and “change”) I tell them:
1) Next time you vote, do us all a favor and READ something other than “Cosmo” and “O”! and...
2) There is a HUGE difference between voting for POTUS and voting for “American Idol”! Did you know that?
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am having a field day with all the “idiots” that voted for him because of change! They all hate the Clintons and his choosing Hillary is making them burn with hatred. In four years we hopefully will be done with the Clintons and BO, change is not coming folks. We need non Washington insiders.

To look forward and be fair, republicans lost voters with college degrees and advanced degrees and really gave people little to vote for, The “lesser of two evils” would not work this time and all the screaming about Ayers and Wright was largely ignored.

I think in Adams day you could not vote if you didn’t own property and pay taxes. I really don’t think there is hope anymore, because there is a solid base for the Left consisting of the 40+% of the public who pay no income tax. When in power, the Pubbie dopes did nothing to reform this tax system, which amounts to legal theft. It is flat out unconstitutional to have a graduated income tax, because it amounts to denial of equal rights under the law. My income is taxable, a Demonrat zombie voter’s isn’t.
