He couldn't POSSIBLY do any worse that Fergus the Mouth-Breather. The GOP in this state has had its head handed to it in the last two elections because they simply put names up on the ballot and figured people would simply vote for them "just because".

There was little to no support from the state GOP. Even the FReepers who are state GOP delegates remarked at how disorganized the convention this year was. The Dems, OTOH, have had literally MILLIONS of dollars and countless hours of support from out-of-state donors and volunteers. Case in point: where I live, NONE of the volunteers at the Obama/Dem offices was from NH. Every one of them was from Mass, NJ, and even Michigan.

Fergus was useless--actually, he was WORSE than useless, and the limp-you-know-what idiots who supported him and made stupid decisions at all levels in state and local governments here didn't help matters (are you listening, Executive Council?). Fran Wendelboe is also considering running for the post and I highly consider you take a look at her. We need to stop playing patty-cake with the out-of-state Dem machine and take this state back, otherwise we're just going to become Mass-lite.
