If this turns out to be the case, it will be pretty entertaining to watch the interaction between the Clintons and the Obamas (plus the Obamabots) in the days ahead.

Another ‘Empty Pantsuit.’ Madeline redux!
Well, at least it’ll keep her out of the country for long stretches at a time.
I’m betting she doesn’t take it. How can she run against him in 2012 if she’s been on his team for 4 years by then?

There is one person in the world who kept Hillary Clinton from becoming President. And now he is giving her a senior position in his cabinet? That man ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed. Does he know the Clintons, at all? Apparently not.
Most inauspicious start for “The One”.
1) Clinton has limited credibility and no foreign policy yexperience
2) Putting her in this position would place her three obstacles away from the goal of her life - Obama, Biden and Pelosi. Given the Clinton’s shady past,I don’t think it beyond them to stage an assasination - or several - to get herself in office. She would, of course, blame “the vast right-wing conspiracy.”
3) The ambitions of the Clinton Klan are so unrestrained that Hillary would follow her own agenda, independent of Obama’s in foreign policy - not that either one would be good for us.
He should make her ambassador to Outer Mongolia.

They love O and they loathe the Klinton’s.

This achieves Bill Clinton’s goal of getting her out of the country as frequently as possible.
I think it was LBJ that said (Not the actual quote) “He would rather have his enimies pissing out the tent door, rather than pissing in the tent door.”
One has to wonder about the Obama vetting process if Hillary is given the green light.
Bill is pushing for this hard because it means more free time for him to get the “action” he wants without her being around.
With Hillary on the road constantly, it’s going to be party city at Bill’s place.
Don’t know what the rules are in NY, but this could be Rudy’s chance.
So she will be negotiating for the US and Bill will be negotiating for them with the same people.
Outrageous.

Maybe Podesta and some other Clintonistas are doing the vetting.
Can a third party take out an insurance policy on the three “obstacles” with themselves as beneficiary? It would be easy money if he puts Hillary in that slot.
This would put her much closer in line of succession to 4th. Wonder what might be up?

When I made a hypothesis about this, the comment wound up on O’Reilly as us being Right Wing whackos.
Careful what you write, even as a hypothesis.
O’Reilly must be desperate for material to go fishing in Internet Forums and blogs.
Its hard to believe I am not the only person saying or thinking this, but thanks for the warning.
Suggestion: Say “The Corporation” whatever that is placed their bets on the Clinton’s once upon a time, but the Clinton’s had their own agenda. “The Corporation” agenda, which would require total compliance failed because of the Clinton’s self interests, and manipulations incompatible with “The Corporation’s” agenda. You’re with them 100%, or the plan fails sort of a thing. This concept would take us from the late 1980’s, early ‘90’s, and through the two failed attempts using the existing players Al Gore 2000, and John Kerry 2004.
Say perhaps “The Corporation” finally became fed up with the Clinton’s and put in place their own man, someone totally in their pocket from outside the existing realm of Political Players. They finance him, guide him, and he says “Yes” to all “The Corporation” tells him they want him to do, and he wins the prize.
Doesn’t matter what he said whenever. It doesn’t matter what he does as he is now almost the President Elect.
His choices now for virtually every position in his forthcoming Presidential Administration are seemingly (IMO) tried and true “The Corporation” trusted personnel. Only in appearance does it seem to be recycled Clintonites when actuality it is recycled “The Corporation”. The bosses behind the curtain.
“The Corporation” or “Entity”, call it what you will is calling the shots, and has been, and will be from now on throughout the Obama Administration.
I’m sayin’ it appears that perhaps we have a Proxy for President. A Marionette whose strings are controllable as the Clinton’s were not. This would explain the sudden appearance, and ascension of a nobody, and the demise of a couple of somebody’s.
If she gets the position of SOS, which I think isn’t going to happen as “The Corporation” probably isn’t all that forgiving, it would be to keep her in a position they can exercise control over the Clinton’s.
Other than that I believe we’ve about seen the last of the Clintons. I believe they are casting off in a borrowed yacht overloaded with their baggage, and setting off into the Sunset. They did their thing on someone else’s dollar, and that someone else didn’t get the return. Now Obama.
Makes for a good story anyway.
For all the naysayers, who would be better? I think, if nothing else,it will be entertaining. Excellent choice in my humble and uninformed opinion!
When I first heard she was being considered I thought she would be a fool to take the position. Everything I’ve been reading points to her accepting it. But then I thought, what if she’s playing him? What if she’s making like she’s going to take it, then when it’s officially offered, she turns it down and makes him look like an idiot. Excuse me, like a bigger idiot.
Warren Christopher has ruined it for white guys. No white males are considered competent for the job of Secretary of State ever since his tenure in that office. But he was so lifelike!
That would be great—Hillary plays Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown to kick.
