It's indescribable. I worked at a Summer camp from 64-70, and the State seemed ok. What happened?

I think they got an influx starting in the 70’s.
Helped build a house up there and that’s one of the things I remember them talking about...the new people.

I checked to see if Newdon was an anti Prop8 contributor. He was not but I learned that there were no pro Prop8 contributors($) listed there in all of Vermont.

Once the ski areas started being developed, along came some very liberal flatlanders. It’s really sad.

Well Megyn kicked his butt. That’s a start.

And you could have a .22 in the closet/locker for shooting practice after dismissal in the school basement.

It is. I just love the Green Mountains and hiking them...............and their gun laws. It’s amazing that they can get some things so right and others so wrong.

I chuckle for a totally different reason than was intended when I watch “White Christmas” and Danny Kaye says, “Like a Democrat?” and Bing Crosby replies, “In Vermont? Where would you find one?”

FreeRepublic should be required reading for every congressional member. Then, perhaps our current membership full of idiots and signifying nothing would have the opportunity to grow up and grow some, man and woman alike... and finally ask forgiveness from the Americans they've so royally screwed for lo these many years!Regards . . . For the little Children.... Apparently the school did not get the memo. Now that Obama is the President elect it is once again ok to be patriotic. No more burning flags or dissing America as it only reflects badly on the ONE. And the ONE does not allow dissent.

(Spelling or grammatical errors in this post can be attributed to the LA City School System)
I am the parent of a Woodbury 1ST grader. The news reports have it all backwards.
We gather our 53 K-6th graders together to recite the pledge as a group. I and the parents I’ve talked to fail to see any problem with that. The students are led in the pledge by a sixth grader. We are instilling the sense of community and patriotism and love for our country in as large a group as we can in our tiny school.
We have NOT banned the pledge from our classrooms, there is NO policy to prevent any student from saying the pledge in the classroom. There is NO one here trying to ban the pledge!
There is one man in town, a known rabble-rouser, who refuses to let this drop. He has a personal agenda against the school staff and he is using the Pledge as a political football to attempt to further his agenda. His children don’t even go to our school!
