The Republican Party is going to rise to the challenge by stacking bad idea upon bad.

You know, I thought the whole, ‘Draft Fred’ was a bad idea at the time as well. This job is perfect for him and he for the job, so why isn’t he being drafted now?

Yes, but is he a RINO?

Are we already dealing with the usual bunch of kingmakers?

If this future kingmaker is such an outstanding person, why does a group have to speak for him?

I’m just asking. As you can see, I don’t trust these guys. They all smell of the usual Washington, business as usual, clique only with a new coat of paint.

Listen, if the G.O.P. just recycles the same old tired has beens and never were or ever going to be, then it is time for a new REAL conservative party.
Enough tired old white guys like Dole and McLame.
Sununu just lost his senate race. He is a loser, we need new real conservative blood. If not, I’m out of here.

Isn’t this the position that they mentioned Michael Steele might seek?

Now there you go! What great way to make certain that the Age of “Uh”bama goes unchallenged, than to thoroughly squash all political opposition, by a RNC Chairman Sununu pushing for David Souter type candidates for office. Brilliant!

Now, John, while you are on your losing streak, put the “You Have Been Elected Chairman of the Board; Pay Each Player $50” card back into the “Chance” deck; you don’t get to keep it...

I live in Massachusetts, and got the opportunity to see just a few of the political ads...shameful. I just couldn’t believe it.

The ads by Shaheen nearly made me have a stroke: “Bush and the Republicans were the cause of the Sub-prime Mortgage Crisis...”

That, and I saw some Barney Frank commercials that said exactly the same thing.

I think since I saw that Barney Frank commercial before the election, I have not watched television since. (I don’t watch any TV anyway, except for an occasional football game, but that was where they were placing the political ads...)

Good God. How stupid can these people be? What do we, the average Joes out here, have to do to regain control of the actual apparatus of this party? I’d like real suggestions, not “pitchforks” and revolutions. There must be a way.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I have had it up to HERE with anything even remotely connected to New Hampshire. After all, they, in their wisdom, rescued John McCain’s candidacy.

Just say no to a northeastern RINO. The Republican Party would only get more of the same lame candidates and platform.

The GOP needs the new ideas and a new direction that Newt Gingrich brings to the table.

Sununu was certainly the better (by far) of the two contenders for his seat but as RNC chairman - we need someone who is fresher and more conservative.

If they serve up the same stack of RINO horns as usual then nothing will have been accomplished and we will be stuck with socialists for ever more.
We need people who will not give any ground on any issue.

Sununu's a fine guy, and he lost in large part because of the Democrat political climate.

But of course he is not what one looks for in an RNC chairman.

He does have a future in NH politics.

A northeastern Republican? I thought that species was totally extinct. Absolutely no one whose state did not vote Republican should be given any leadership posts, because obviously they are not leaders.

just what are his accomplishments that could draw to inspire the Republican Party??
What about leadership skills?

Has he been the CEO of any organization, private or public?

Has he acquired any skills re organizing complex organizations using volunteers in most areas?

What about fund raising? Is he capable of teaching and putting together an effective campaign.

How does he get along with the various state GOP organizations?

What are his attributes?

We want the very best for this post.

Sunnunu as GOP chair?

Another reason the GOP is finished as a party.

Conservatives need to form their own party, and not be co-opted by feckless and gutless RINOs ever again .

Enough of this insanity. We have a country to save.
