An Augsburg College student and Sarah Palin supporter from Alaska was beaten on Election Night while walking to her dorm and called a racist by a group of four young black women because she had on a McCain/Palin presidential campaign button, authorities and the victim said.
Annie Grossmann, a freshman on the college hockey team, suffered a suspected concussion and blurred vision from being punched in the eye but declined medical attention,

Grossmann said she was in a dorm lobby with a handful of fellow Republicans watching the election returns with “a bunch of Democrats around next to me, cheering [Barack] Obama on and rubbing it in our faces.”
Once Obama was declared the winner, Grossmann said, she left the building alone shortly after 9:30 p.m. and headed to her room.
Under a skyway connecting the two buildings, the four women “bigger than I am” came up to her, she said.
“One approached me and got in my face and called me racist because I had the pin on. That really ticked me off, but I kind of left it alone because she was so much bigger than I am,” said the 5-foot-2, 120-pounder who played boys high school hockey in Alaska. “The girls in the background were just a little bigger than me. They were mocking me from the sidelines.
“I didn’t say anything. … This one [bigger] girl grabbed me by the shoulders and was holding me. After about five minutes, I just wanted to get out of there.”
Grossmann said she told the women, “ 'You guys don’t even know me. There’s no reason to think I’m racist.’ ”
At that point, she said, she pushed the bigger one in the group, and “she punched me, and the back of my head hit a brick wall.”

My very anti-obama bumper stickers are still on my car. Yesterday, I stopped for gas and as I was waiting a 55ish africian american woman stopped and read my stickers. She adopted this hands on hips pose and informed me that I would soon see “who’s in charge now.” I was just stunned into silence (a rare event for me). In the bay next to me were two africian american men - both 60 - 70 (they looked and acted like pastors). Anyway, the one gentleman comes over and touches my arm, and says “young lady, don’t you worry about what she says, some folks mommas didn’t teach them a thing about manners.” The lady looked at him like he was nuts, but she didn’t say anything else. Very weird experience, for sure.

I wonder what color the girls were. I wonder if we could call them racists.
I hope this stupid stuff doesn’t develop into a larger problem.

The Augsburg campus group Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual Support Services has an annual “Coming Out Day” at this Lutheran college. Interesting.

Methinks they are Education majors, with a minor in "Cultural Studies".
Minnisota is where that Prof had to resign because he was stealing McCain signs.

It will warm my heart knowing more of my tax money will given to people like that lady who thinks someone, (the Evil white people), owes her a living.
I did, too. I was shocked to find it mentioned at all, let alone in the first few sentences.
I think this girl needs to do three things:
1. Understand why the local paper has the name STAR Tribune, as in Red Star.
2. Call the State Police and report this whole episode, get sketches made and make sure she is on record as having reported this assault.
3. Strongly consider a transfer to a State and a school that is not Totalitarian.

The truth.
My hubby was in the gun shop today and in the hour he was there, he said there were about 15 people in the shop. This shop is in a small (300 people or so) town in Iowa. The guy that owns it is in his mid seventies. Does decent business considering where he’s located, but I think this year could be a record breaker for him!!

I have a Mossberg HS410 and the instruction pamplet says no slugs or large size shot. I contaccted the company and assked around and the only answer i got was the barrel was modified. Can you explain better?
I also have other weapons so this is only for indoor security!!! Thanks
Barrel is not designed for it, you will get galling in the barrel, so use steel shot turkey loads, 3” or 2 3/4”.Get the clear plastic shells to see whats inside.I like the Fiocchi myself.
