Baptist ping!
With the Fairness Doctrine being implemented by the Democrats a church of satan must be erected within .5 miles of this church to “balance” the message. /s
Mississippi Ping!
I am gonna guess that those “several outraged people” are black, but I could be wrong.
Good for ‘em. Glad to know there are those still not afraid to speak their beliefs, particularly as concern Our Lord and His Word.
May GOD bless them and the State of Mississippi.
I’m not ashamed.

We are probably entering a dark age where anyone who has a bad word to say about Obama or who does not sorship Obama will be crucified. Decide right now what you truly believe.
Obama wants to sign the Freedom of Choice Act as his first act as president. That is highly symbolic, sets the tone of his presidency, shows where his heart lies. Not that it matters as much as the killing of unborn babies, but it is a slap in the face of pro-lifers. Clinton was the same with his go-ahead of RU-486 as his official act.
I was an exile in my own land during the Clinton years, and will be again.
God has given to this nation what it wants—destruction and bondage.
Video at link, I'm going that way to work today to see if was any shenanigans last night with the sign....
Christians will be prosecuted under Obama. We will be exiles. We’re already pilgrims in this world — Heaven being our true home. Read Foxx’s Book of Martyrs for inspiration.
In an e-mail from a nearby pastor:
“Its true that America has just elected a man to serve as President who does not share certain biblical values with you and me. He is strongly pro-abortion. As such, he approves the extermination of innocent life created by God. He is in favor of same-sex marriage legislation. As such, he calls good what God has declared evil. He has claimed to be a Christian on many occasions, but in both print and in interviews he has routinely denied basic tenets of the Christian faith. He believes the Bible is solely a human product. He believes there are many paths to God. He believes that salvation is found through a combination of faith and good works. He believes the primary work of the church is social and temporal, not salvific and eternal. President-Elect Obama believes in some kind of spiritual framework but its not biblical Christianity.
“If the prospect of an Obama presidency scares you, your security is misplaced. Will we as Christians face more opposition and tribulation in the next four years? Probably. But God is our security, heaven is our home, and we are not citizens of this world. In the ultimate sense, no man or group of men can bring us harm.
My wife said there’s a billboard somewhere betweeen Lucedale and Ocean Springs that says “No thanks Obama we already have a Messiah”.
Now keep in mind my opinion that congregants have little to no business supervising or second-guessing pastors, especially Sr. Pastors - we should be submissive to and follow their biblical leadership. I've decided to approach him as gracefully as possible and tell him that I am really uncomfortable with him, especially as a pastor in a SBC congregation, publically advertising his support for a candidate who at every opportunity as an elected government official has supported the culture of death that leads to approx 4000 aborted babies each day in our country. Not to mention that this candidate will be the most likely to legislate or outlaw preaching parts of the Bible as hate speech.
I have no idea what his response will be, but I will leave that up to God above. Ultimately, he will need to understand that every decision in ministry he makes will be viewed through the lens of his publicly backing a candidate who supports these things which are completely offensive to most SBC Christians.
Foolish me, how naive. All along I thought that my church home should be a sanctuary from the absolute evil of this world.
