Hell no! We need NEW leadership, not the same old. We need a firebrand, someone who takes no prisoners when defining and defending conservatism. We need someone to inspire the base. And especially, we need someone from either the South, West or Southwest, or Alaska. Enough with these East-Coast types.

Surely we’ve learned at least a little something after having our clocks cleaned by an open racist / marxist. You don’t beat the far left by putting up a sort of left candidate.

GOP? Sununnu?
Still stuck on stupid.
It’s time for conservatives to move on.A new start. a new party. If Newt wants to come along, fine. But this is not fixable from the inside.
Ask yourself one question: Who is the leader of the Republican Party?
Take your time.

Just say NO to RINO's...

I simply don't understand everyone cheering for Newt to lead up the RNC.
Newt is a global warming nutball that needs to go away with all the other RINOs.
For all the cries of cleaning up the republican party and returning it to conservative principles we sure do seem to want to keep this old codger around.

No, no and no!!!!
For the next RNC Chairman, we need a conservative with passion, with great organizing skills, a gifted communicator living a vetted clean, moral life. WDC experience should be only a secondary attribute.
Never again should we nominate anyone sitting in Congress for President. They are the worst candidates. Only look at governors and heads of industries (that does not include Wall Street,)and proven military leaders.

Sununu????? Oh, yeah, Jr. is a loser RINO like his dad (Sr. gave us David Souter, to his lasting shame).
Hey, RNC, here’s a clue: a guy who cannot figure out how to win NEW HAMPSHIRE cannot be charged with leading the nationwide effort. Period. End of story.
Find someone who at least has some plausibility.

Sununu is a RINO who voted for the final version of the bailout plan! I’m beyond tired of too many conservatives in general as well as people here on FR still rallying behind RINO’s like Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, John McCain, John Sununu, etc. and then promoting these RINO’s as if they really are conservatives instead! If too many conservatives still can’t even successfully determine a RINO whenever they see one, then all of conservatism won’t successfully advance itself for both the short-term and for the long-term! Conservatism has really lost for good, and it will still take several future elections here before many more conservatives also see things my way! There’s no coming back from the dead, and only dead Democrats count as legitimate votes in the eyes of all leftists! Still, fight the good fight, conservatives, even though it’s really a waste of both time and money now that “leftist dominance” is this country’s long-term future with no actual end in sight. Please prove me wrong on all of this, please! I’m from Massachusetts, and conservatism and Republicanism has been dead here for more than fifty years with no end in sight. I see what’s still presently happening politically in Massachusetts soon going national with no end in sight.

In order to be RNC Chair, you better come from a RED State that voted Republican in at least four of the last five Presidential elections. No RINO's need apply.
